I recieved my DX02 Batman from BBTS, and I think I actually prefer my older Dark Knight figure. I like the wider shoulders of the original figure, makes Batman look alot more intinidating, especially since I switched my DX Joker onto a slim body.

I have to admit, the detailing of the DX suit is much nicer than the first version, but I find it to bit more rigid, making it much harder to keep in action poses. I haven't seen any DX figures in fighting poses so I'm assuming everyone else has this problem as well.

Since I already upgraded my original figure with the DX parts off Ebay, I'll probably end up selling the DX.

For everything I've been through I'd rather not play with it much and keep it as relaxed as possible so it lasts for as long as possible. Plus I never play with my figs anyway. Hence why my v1 is still in mint condition nearly 2 years later.

OK all you gohastings people. When these were going for such a cheap price I decided to investigate how many were available at the brick and morter stores and I found them in at least 4-5 stores just in the Kansas area alone. I just got off the phone with a girl in the Lawrence KS store that had it in her hand. So they are not sold out at the stores. Im sure they are not sold out at any of the other stores either. If they canceled your order because they were "sold out" I would call the 1-800 number and tell them that you know they are at the stores and that they should honor your sale. You can't go to the stores and get the discounted price but you may be able to get them to ship for that price. Its worth a shot. I was lucky enough to get one at the start but I hope you guys can get something worked out. If anyone tries this please let me know how it goes. Good luck. Oh, some of the other locations were Hays KS, Hutchinson KS, St. Joseph MO.... cant remember any others. Good luck!

Hello, I have a quick question. Is this the type of figure that well decompose with time? Will the suit dry out and crack if it is in any position other than neutral?

Hello, I have a quick question. Is this the type of figure that well decompose with time? Will the suit dry out and crack if it is in any position other than neutral?

It would most likely mark/wrinkle/stretch/stick and possibly crack if it's in a tightly kinked position for many months when you go to straighten it. Arms bent close to the chest or legs bent tightly for long term.

As for drying out. It may in 4 - 5 years time. Thats only a maybe though. Could last longer. Just depends on your environment. Smoke, aerosols, lots of dust, sunlight, sunny rooms, humidity, condensation, damp/cold conditions etc

I just got my DCD DX02 Bats from Redform films today. Hard plastic abs as advertised. No issues to speak of. Something about this batch seems less rushed than the earlier batches. Not as many scuffs on the figure and heads, or threads hanging off the cape. More care seems to have been taken with the DCD batch.

hey guys know what I'm taking notice of? All the questions from newbies about fears of HT suit decomposing. I can't help but wonder if this indicates an up tick in HT sales? If so then I'd say it good news for future Batman HT figs.

I think many people have gotten there pre orders already. My pre Order I made with DCBS is coming tomorrow, according to tracking number. I pre order this way back when in 2009.

I talked to the girl in Lawrence just now, she said they shipped out their last one this morning as an online order (and she'd received multiple calls since). I called two other stores in Kansas, one in Kentucky, and one in Missouri, and they all said they didn't have any.

You might get lucky then, mate. I ordered on Saturday, and got my cancellation yesterday. Maybe yours went through and one of the mentioned bats is getting packed up for you.

Actually I think gohastings order system just screwed my third order. I placed an order for one on the 7th, which has shipped. Then, I placed a new one on the 12th. But the problem is, the new order is the EXACT SAME order number as the June 7th order; so, it did not register correctly and viewing the new order only leads me to the previous order I made. So I don't think I'll be getting a third.

Gohastings really needs to organize their website, seriously.

i ordered mine saturday, called to check to see if it has shipped yet,
i was told it was out of stock, that they would try and locate me one in 7 days. man this sux. it wasn't out of stock when i placed my order, got a conformation email showing it went through, now they say this.
