I really REALLY hated that neck, was such a blemish on such a near perfect figure!

simply cut it off, its a pretty permanent thing though lol, so you have to be SURE you want to basically damage your figure for looks!

If you plan on one day selling it, I dont recommend it

comparison between standard DX neck, and DX neck after cutting out the ball in the neckpost, sorry Maglor for stealing your pic for reference lol.

And for those wondering how to insert Iforigno's capes, this is how I did it, I glued the edges of the cape as in this pic into little squares and waited for them to dry, this made them get hard and basically they become the clips to put then in as in this pic:

Then I used a plier to gently push the home made clips in:

And it's in clean, this looks far more neat than when you just shuff the ends in IMO. I'm a picky futzer lol.

Partially, they are photos from Tommy Richardson. He usually takes photos of the prototypes for Hot Toys to tease people badly.

They usually creep up before the official ones on the front page show up. You've probably seen some photos of milk milk milk across some of them which is his teasers.

Man, I really haven't been paying too much attention to the neck conversations but I just posed his head like in Maglor's pic and when you see it with your own eyes on your own figure

I showed my wife who's not into this ____, she asked what's up with his neck

Will the cape not stay in without making "clips", I find I can get the stock HT cape to stay in just by pushing the ends down into the slots with some tweezers.

Whatever it takes, you came up with a good way of making clips to get the job done without actually using clips, good job on figuring out something better Hot Toys should have come up with .

I was able to use the HT clips on the v1 TDK but could never get mine to lay down properly with the DX so I finally just took the clips off, works and looks better. I realize that the TDK cape is a trick one because of how it's attached on the real suit, but I still think the clip method HT came up with wasn't the best method.
