DX head looks very accurate to me anyway, I prefer it most of all simply for the angry mouthpiece!

Anyone ever used that batgrapple holster? That thing is buttugly!

I'm going to use the batgrapple holster on my OC Batman. That way it's accurate to its appearance in the beginning of "The Dark Knight," when he's got his gun holstered.

It's ugly and big, but that's the point - it adds to the bulk of the suit and shows how he's carrying a bit too much weight. Really adds contrast against the DX TDK suit, mirroring the film's rationale for the change in suit as well.

That is ridiculously cool!

But just to have a really good comparison, can you overlay the image of the actual batman over the figure in the same pose? Just want to see whether the cowl shape looks off and compare the other parts as well

i will take it mate when I have the head again. have sent it for a repaint to boot, so i have to wait until i have him back

and yes, it's the v1 neck. The medi head fits really well at the neck. i only have to find a method how i can modify the neck so the head can be posed more down-looking.

@baloo: it's a cool shot really and i love your photoshop work, but that head is looking so weird. like a baby who's smiling and trying to speak to someone 'gagaaa?' like the iron-baby

I don't think look wise it makes alot of difference wether or not you lower the balljoint or simply cut it out, the former being harder to do.

articulation wise I think there's a little loss, but not complete loss, it's IMO still better than a fully articulated giraffe neck lol.
As the last pic suggests, the neck IS bended forward a bit, just not very much

And I'm not sure how to securely reattach the balljoint without it breaking off again as soon as you swap necks?

Superglue won´t help?
Cause I plan on doing so...

What cape is that? Not the original one, right?
Is this look possible with the original cape?

It sits far too high though. Nearly up into the arm pit. ¬_¬
