Ok so a couple days ago my girlfriend surprised me with the DX Batman for our anniversary ( she is amazing for sure!). It is from the latest batch from DC direct, so I would think it would definitely be the "non-leaky" version right? Belt had like plastic on the back of it, between it and the suit. everything looks great. Just wondering what the DX02 experts here think?

If the plastic was just behind the belt I would think it is the DC one.

Am I right to be annoyed at BBTS for not sending out my DX exactly 7 days since I ordered it? I'm angry, but I don't know if I should be, because they are shut over weekends and the item goes through a warehouse process, doesn't it? Not to mention they only send out stuff on Mondays and Thursdays. So is it normal for it to take so long? If it is I can't complain one bit as I didn't take the time out to find out all this stuff before I ordered. No ones fault but my own. On the other hand, if the item could have been sent out the Monday following, i'll be pissed! $200+ including shipping that was down as 3-8 days estimated delivery time!

I just posed mine over the few days I have him and will be posting pics soon.

Well in my case sometimes the oil show up faster (under 1 day) and sometimes it show up slower (3-4 days). I don't know why is that change, but maybe it depends on the room's tempreture. I am not sure...because even in big heat and under the same conditions the leakage's speed is not the same. I dunno what really cause this...

Frustrating it is...

Well lets hope your Batman will be fine. I and a few others have a DX Batman from DCD and they are leaking at the biceps area. You never know.

Very frustrating yes...but I am starting to not care about the figure anymore. It is really annoying to me that I have to check him at the problematic areas every day and I just can't enjoy that nice looking figure because of that problem.

Does the oil really deteriorate the figure though? Over time, is it really going to eat away at the entire figure?

yeah, in 10-15 years you won't see the figure anymore

Ok. Has anyone else here tried the neck mod with the V1 neck? I did it and didn't come out too happy with it. The magnet I got is too weak. It can't hold up the head in any position. I got it from Radio Shack and it was the only one they had. Also the back of the neck doesn't fit in with the head. Here are some pics.

ALSO bad news. I used a stand for my DX Batman and had him posed just standing up. I guess some how the legs were spread apart too much and the crotch is starting to tear. I cant take good pics because my camera sucks, but this is the best I can do:

finally managed to lower my neck, was going to mod the TDK v1 neck but was too lazy, so i took the DX neck opened it up and took out that rubber ball joint piece and snipped those plastic ball joint piece off on each side and shoved it back in the body. sorry i dint take pics of that mod.

At the problematic areas the suit will deteriorate over time.

I know. that's why I went and tried it. lforigno can you help me out here and give me some pointers??

use the small magnets for inside the whole where the ball joint goes. You will have to make it larger with a dremmel and even dremmel off the top of the neck. Once the you have the whole big enough put the small magnets inside. Once they are you put a larger magnet on top. Make sure the magnet is about the size of the neck in diameter. Once that magnet is on it will hold no problem.

What about the problem about being such a ____ty fit? That's what has me worried. What did your's look like in back?

I dont have any pics, but mine was a perfect fit in the back and the bigger magnet was strong enough to hold everything in place

why dont u guys just mod the dx neck? splt iin half and cut the inside tabs.
