Just got him. Stunning.

Some goon put his head on to where his neck hole(?) was overlapping his hair. WTF? Easy fix with no damage, phew.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I noticed the collar after the fact pjam, can that be futzed away? It's all I see when I look at the pics now :lol

I'm sure you can. I would consult with the futzmeister, Wor-Gar though first.

You may have to actually remove the suit and iron it out but there might be a simpler solution. I'll ask him to weigh in...

Thanks P!

Well, I might try a dab of water on the "wrinkle" and then use a hairblower to heat the material so it will dry flat. You may need to press it down once hot with your fingers until it cools.

See if that helps. If not, then you will probably need to remove the suit, lightly iron it from the back side with a not-so-hot iron. Take quick presses until it lays flat. Then redress.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

The odd thing is, I know the suit didn't do that out of the box, so it must have happened in the process of futzing him. It stands to reason that I should be able to futz it back. I guess we'll see...

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Thanks for responding so quickly WG.

Marf, I hope you can de-futz that beauty, if not, it seems a solution is at hand.

I remember when I had the HT Routh every now and then the collar would curl up with the elastic stitching and I had to turn it back down but this seems to be a fold or wrinkle and an iron can certainly flatten that out.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Did everybody receive a sideshow 2012 calendar with their exclusive or regular edition Superman?

If you try this, I would be careful of the symbol reacting to the heat. Good luck.

Sorry Marf, but you might have to settle for the iron method that WG suggested. My first CR Reeves was like that :thud: I tried and futzes and stripped the clothes off and reattached the clothes several times, but that crease on the collar will not go away, so then I tried pulling it down to the chest more to flatten it out, but then the the shirt bunched up above the belt and I straighted it, but then I lost some of the definition in the suit :gah:

In studying it carefully, the inside collar had the seam squished in and sewn in the squished part :slap. So no matter what I tried, except the iron trick, nothing seemed to work. :lecture

So good luck, hopefully you won't have the same situation I had with mine and that the squished seam is not sewn in. :slap

I believe so. I already received one from my Spook kit, so this was a bit "meh" for me.

Uuuggghhh this or Scarecrow. So broke...hate having to decide.

Scarecrow? Really? I'd have to be a really big Batman fan, and an indifferent Superman fan for that comparison to need thought.

Maybe he meant Jack Sparrow :)

I could be the only person on the planet who hated the Pirate movies. I tried watch the first one and fell asleep the first 20 minutes into it.
