Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I'm loving all the pics being posted. I LOOOOVE my HT Supes...perhaps I shall take some pics soon and post....

I can't help but think...if only HT would have given us some Heat Vision accessory to attach to his eyes, or some Arctic breath....you know hot toys would have made it look sweet...

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Here you go kardiel the CR Supes sculpt on a TTM-19 body.Just so you know the Supes neck joint is too small so it makes the head sit too low on the tt-19.You would have to use the neck joint that came with the tt-19,OK.The PICS here are shown with the supes neck joint instead of the body original neck joint and yes the skin tone is about the same so you won't have to re-color it.Hope this helps.:wink1:

Curious to see the outcome if he wear the suit on that body.

Just as an additional idea for people, using the T-1000's 'wagging' finger hand:

I missed the original use for this 1-1000 hand as I looked back in the thread and could not find an earlier post about it, but I am guessing the best use would have been to recreate this pose"

Now that is the pose I want to see, and I would love to get a hand like that so I could put my figure in that pose.

Any ideas how to get the creases out of the back of the cape.

Mine has a bad crease through the S sign and it won't come out

Try steam ironing it with a light cloth covering it, don't put the iron directly on the cape.

Is the likeness much better in person? ..or does it look just as how it looks in pics?

The likeness is always better in person, it's A+ spot on!

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

This figure is for some reason or another not photogenic. I haven't seen one picture that made the figure look good, but he is amazing in person. I just got my Jack Sparrow DX6 yesterday and I still think Reeve is way better.

There's a lot of pretty good shots on the net actually even here.. Jack and reeve are very very photogenic :D

I've certainly seen loads of amazing shots of him over the course of this thread but I haven't been able to take a decent pic of him, not one.

Have you guys noticed a sheen around his neck? I noticed a reflected light on his neck and when I looked I saw an oily residue which I wiped off. I noticed that it also wiped off some of the paint application. It wasn't there a few days ago and it has been warm these last days in CA.

I never meet the man, but looking at these old pictures makes me miss him being around.

I know what you mean. When I think about being a kid, I think about Christopher Reeve as Superman. That's why I love this figure, it's like owning a memory.

Only thing I found on it was a shiney streak on the forehead in the shape of a curl...
