Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

try a hair dryer on the forehead for a few seconds, not sure if that will make any difference :dunno

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Only thing I found on it was a shiney streak on the forehead in the shape of a curl...

Testors dullcoat in spray can form. I had a glossy spot on my Superman's forehead, and that fixed it right up. Looks flawless now and it was very easy to do. Just mask off the rest of the head/face/hair/eyes with blue masking tape, isolating the area just around the glossy spot before you attempt it.

Anyone know if the cape comes off, I can see there are 2 press studs on he's back but what about the shoulders :dunno

My wife's Cybershot doesn't impress my at all...lousy macro capabilites. For a 14MP camera the clarity kinda blows. :dunno

No it isn't removable. The snaps are just to keep the cape in the right place ,but is sewn at the neckline. That's why you don't see the suit and cape being sold separately on eBay.

Can you just spray some on a qtip or sponge and apply it to the little spot?

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

The neck on mine also has two shiny spots but nothing really bothering.
I guess i just wont touch it.. i might end up removing the paint :gah:

Still my best figure so far :yess:

I'm scared......:gah:

I would dry brush it. You just put a tiny bit on the brush and wipe it on some clean white paper so that the brush is almost dry and little by little touch up the shiny spot.

i added a light effect to my crystal dio. i also managed once again to get him into a flying pose. i just love this figure but you REALY have to be careful with the costume cuz my nails made a tiny little threads, nothing major but defiently have to handle thid figure with great care. beyond that, just amazing. got him with indy right now. both are phenominal.
