I wasn't really talking about shiny spots but the dreaded oily residue. I look at it every night now to see if more comes out. Now that I think of it, this was the copy that I disassembled completely. Including the disassembling and reassembling of the truetype body. If it happens again, I will disassemble it and put a protective layer between the plastic body and rubber part.

Have you guys noticed a sheen around his neck? I noticed a reflected light on his neck and when I looked I saw an oily residue which I wiped off. I noticed that it also wiped off some of the paint application. It wasn't there a few days ago and it has been warm these last days in CA.

What's this, what's this? Residue? First I've heard of this.

I'm still looking into it, so don't worry too much. Just look around the neck area where around the adam's apple. I noticed it only because it was reflecting light and saw that it was a residue. It hasn't returned since and still wondering what triggered it. Right now, I am thinking the warm weather we had that week.

I have a tiny red spot of what looks like paint on the belt of mine, what would be the best way of removing it? Or would I just be better to get a replacement belt from eBay?

I don't get the attraction of putting Supes and '89 Bats together, Batman killed people in his films, Superman wouldn't hang out with him.

Cool pics guys! I'm late on this one, was waiting for 89 Bats but the price is starting to go past what I'm prepared to pay for it. Overall, love this fig but I seam to have the shiny bits on the neck too.

Not sure, found it in a shop here in Bangkok, they sell parts from parted out figures. Dam I want that 89 Batman so bad lol

Holy mackerel 1100 pages....so what is the consensus on this? I'm thinking about making this my first purchase being back. I dreamed about this thing before I took a break and about pooped when i saw it. Is it great? Any problems? The pics look fantastic!
