Stitching on the neck seems pretty f'd up on most of the pics I've seen. Mine is a little too. What is it with HT tailoring lately, they hit an all time high with the Avengers outfits IMO, incredible detail, hidden seams, tiny stitching. But this, the new Captain America, Ada, and that HK singer dude with the long hair all have very shoddy looking stitching.

Don't think johnny walkers on the cards but can only ask.

Is this the right bottle?

I' be interested in a bottle if it was Johnny Walker red.

Also, does anyone know of a good method of adding a bit of extra muscle to the body? I'd like to do a more accurate take on Reeve from 3, who was noticeably more buff than he was in the first film.

Well i wavered back and forth for a long time. At first i thought it wasn't different enough. (dark enough mostly) Seems i was wrong as more side by side pics came out. The figure is "dark enough" totally which makes me happy as it was my main concern. And the sculpt does have little gray shades on the side which you can't really tell in pics, and looks great overall. (yes a new one woulda been great but it is what it is) Seems like a lotta pics you can't even tell the color correctly. So i did a lot of searching and found the truth, and the truth led me into ordering! I am a huge CR Superman fan and can't not own this! Seeing as how i never thought this guy would even happen in a million years, kinda spoiled maybe. In a time where Batman figs and Iron Man figs saturate, IMO this is the kinda stuff HT should be concentrating on. I hope this means MAYBE sometime we can get a Clark and or Zod. And i also hope anyone that is on the fence like i was commits to having another gorgeous CR figure. I also understand these things cost a lot so i understand. (what was this guy limited to again?)

Really wanna find out how many they were limited to. (keep hearing 3000, keep hearing 600, keep hearing 600 per show.)

I have seen semi official comments on the net about it being 600, one reported 800. I doubt either is true. There doesn't seem to be a shortage of them. 600 of these would be gone in no time.

So glad I got this guy. Pictures really can't convey how different he looks from regular Supes in my opinion. This is one of those releases that needs to be seen in person to be appreciated.

Might end up being a sleeper hit in the years to come.

Seriously though I am warming to this figure shame about the stitching issues and crooked s if that is an issue and of course the sculpt.
As said above it is what it is and you either get it or don't.
I'm still on the fence but will probably not get it, for the negatives and either customise what parts I have using the orignal suit.
Still need the undies and belt and body
Would have been cheaper to buy a whole figure than parts

Yeah, the only thing is this one's not all that different. I mean it is but it doesn't look that evil really The regular one's I've seen seem to go for like $250 or more now which to me seems a bit high.

I also say get the original over this. More iconic sums my reasoning up perfectly.

Yeah get the original and when you see how awesome that is in hand you'll instantly want this one to compliment it.


Mine will be here Thursday, can't hardly wait to have another CR Supes in the house! I kinda want to stick a CR pic like this guy did in my detolf.

The base is fantastic, the suit is pretty poor compared to the original, the fabric is practically see though, the stitching inferior, and from what I can see most of the shields are off. So i wouldn't say its the stronger figure, not sure what context you are saying that in though. I still actually like it, but it needs the krypton ex necklace to made it pop on display.

And it's hard to beat the colors and crystal base on the original for display.

What stitching are you referring to? Are you talking about the neck being exposed?(seen in your last posts) Cause it's like that on a lot of original Supes figs as well. I remember a lot of people complaining about original supes QC as well, and i didn't really see much aside from the occasional Blatant f UP. Sorry to hear you are seeing a lot of issues, i myself am not bothered by what i see.




Neck line: I actually quite like the look. I think it works well on Evil supes especially.
