toywiz has the toysrus p2 -2 pack up for preorder, for only $49.99 + shipping, what a ripoff, and they say delivery in jan.

If this 2-pack is anything like last year's one, they should be readily available both in-store and on-line to purchase for $25 to $28.

yes i know, i was saying how toywiz is trying to rip people off earley.

Yeah, I remember when series 1 came out, the Classic Pred figure pre-order jumped from like $15.99 to over $30 over the course of a few days. It sucks when places do that.

Don't know if this has been asked before. Has anyone noticed if the netting is sculpted onto the figure? I can't help but notice the prototype is wearing netting as a separate piece of clothing. And it looks better than the netting that came with the 1/4 p1. If they show the prototype with it as a separate piece of the armor/gear and then just sculpt it on later that seems a bit disappointing to me. I'm not trying to complain but it seems like neca could be a serious contender for high end figures but just chooses not to be. Which is fine but if that's the case don't dangle the carrot in front of our noses and then throw it away. Again not trying to complain but if they're not going to paint the figure right then don't paint it at all. At least if they make it out of clear plastic and call it "cloaked" I can still appreciate the sculpt.

Not trying to start an argument here or anything because I am a fan of neca but it seems like with the predator line they just don't put in as much effort. I loved all of the bioshock figures and the dead space ones too. The streetfighter figs were also pretty top notch.

Ed, you're behind on the times. They could be a real contender for the throne of the upped their size and quality. I personally wish that they would. And yes, the netting is sculpted onto the smaller figures, it makes me sad to see such a great sculpt hidden under semi thick sculpted lines, but it doesn't bother me. The biggest thing that bothers me is the size. The paint and the netting aren't a big deal at all.

Yeah I know I'm behind. I just got into predator figures maybe 6 or 7 months ago. And I don't want anyone to think I'm completely bashing neca because I love the 1/4 scale figure. I wouldn't mind at all if they just stopped producing the smaller ones and put everything behind the 1/4 scale.

This made me ask myself what I'd buy at 7/8" before I feel done with that scale. Still surprisingly a lot. I don't expect everything here to be made, or even most of it, but these are things I definitely would buy:

-Dutch (plus variants and any and all of the other soldiers)
-Mike Harrigan (plus BD variant)
-Royce (plus variants)
-'Aliens' human figures (Ripley, Bishop, any and all USCMs plus variants if necessary)
-Power Loader with Ripley
-Queen (and hive?)
-Dog Alien
-Ripley Alien 3
-'Alien' human figures (any and all)
-AvP predators
-Kyle Reese 1984 Tech Noir
-Kyle Reese 1984 Cyberdyne factory
-Kyle Reese 2029 Techcom soldier
-T-800 Tanker chase Battle-damage
-Sarah Connor (T1 and T2)
-T3 figures
-T4 figures
-Battle damaged Robocop (ED-209 battle)
-Battle damaged Robocop (final stage BD)
-ED-209
-ED-209 BD

Out of that list I actually only anticipate seeing the ones highlighted in bold.

You forgot something, but I fixed it. You're welcome, Mo Chara. :hi5:

:lol First I thought you'd added some figure to the list. Took me a few lookovers to see what you'd done. Go raibh mile maith agat! I think I just said 'thanks a lot', can't be sure though, its been over 10 years...

If they release it as a "1/4" scale I'd say we'll get close to that.
Lets hope so.

I mean, Predator (P1) 7" figure and Predator (P1) 19" (1/4) look pretty much the same (colour wise).

Surely NECA could do the same for Predator 2.

Seeing that prototype again, it's practically a completely different figure...
And an awesome one too :)

I can understand the trepidation behind doing a Queen, because there's more than one way to handle it and depending on your preferences and reasoning, more than one company. It may take some time to get a news update on that, if any.

Doggy, on the other hand... we're beating a dead horse by saying this, but there is NO EXCUSE! It'd also be a strong move by NECA, considering that the only alternatives (both from McFarlane and Hot Toys) don't look a thing like the creature. What've they got to lose?

Yeah, we need a sloppily painted Alien Queen figure that costs four times what the McFarlane figure cost like there's no freaking tomorrow.

Ht's looks alot like the suit one to me...

Have you seen NECA's Alien figures? They happen to look great... and for somthing this expensive, they will definitely be more cautious.

Oh, and the sculpt will destory McFarlane's like there's no freaking tomorrow.
