I got these from FP this morning,
The new packaging is really nice and should go down very well with MOC collectors. As for the figures Martha is my favorite and has a great new sculpt and some nice detailing. Jack's likeness still isn't great but it's better than the previous one and the overall figure is good. The Slitheen figure is the same as the previous releases and the skin suit turned out far better than I expected. Bring on series 4 and Classics wave 1!

Great figures BCM, I've also got the Captain Jack Harkness one last night and as a sometimes MOC collector I'm here to tell you the new packaging from Character rocks. I've already got a huge collection of loose Doctor Who figures from the new series but now I'll be getting MOC versions of my favourite characters as well.
Also not sure if any Doctor Who fans from this board post on the Outpost Gallifrey boards as well, but just to let you know I've joined as Nuwhovian if anyone wants to catch up with me over there. I'll be posting here too of course.

It would be great to see some new 12" figures.
A Captain Jack,with trench coat would be cool.
A 9th Doctor and a Rose would be awesome as well.

Any more official figures of Rose in any scale are unlikely unless Billie Piper changes her current stance as I remeber reading somewhere that she's not very enthusiastic about having figures made of her and only agreed to the previous ones as it was part of the deal when she signed on to do the show originally.
There might be a slightly better chance for Jack and the 9th Doctor but the 12" line hasn't been a great seller for Character Options so I'd be very suprised to see either. The next 12" figures were rumored to be a Sontaran and Astrid but there's been no pics or anything and with the first wave of 5" figures from series 4 imminent it doesn't look promising.

What melts my head even more is that his helmet is removeable, but the Trooper's isn't. So you've basically got a figure which is identical to the Commander, but with less functionality.
I think General Staal is going to be in the box set.

Well I got my Time Crash set and I also found out about two upcoming sets. We are getting a deluxe Pyrovile set with the full alien and a Roman Soldier. Also there is a Stolen Earth set. It's the Supreme Dalek, Davros and repacks of 10 and a Dalek.

Yea, replying to myself, bad form. But now: With pictures! And I was wrong. The other Dalek is not a 'rehash' but has the odd attachment instead of the plunger.

Np Marc. I was actually searching for info about the Time Crash set for someone when I found it. Looks totally legit so Im excited for it. Now all we need is a Martha with the right pants, ROSE!, Jackie, Mickey, Donna, new Doctor and a slightly modded Sarah Jane as the base for the finale SJ already exists in the SJA line. Jack is .. well Jack, and if you don't have the Doctor well then.

Don't know, not at SDCC this year but if it's like last year they only have things to sell and no hints of upcoming merchandise.

OK thanks. The new sets look OK but I'll be giving both a miss as I hated the Fires Of Pompeii episode and will just get the inevitable single releases of the Supreme Dalek and Davros Palpatine.
