Re: New Doctor Who Figures?
When I saw the B&W I laughed out loud and thought about you.

After what went down with the celery, and CO general "FU" to the collectors I figured, how could they not? But I am pumped they are doing it and even MORE pumped these are SDCC exclusives. Interesting that these figures will be at a collector-based event when, ya know, CO can't be bothered with us. I think there is a tone shift at least for the US.
OMFG! CO and Forbidden Planet FTW!
Yes. WhoNA has stated they will be carrying them. Don't know when or how much they will cost yet though.
I agree that this is a very promising move... I balked at the price till I realised that a) these are exclusives and b) they are really two figure sets since they come with a dalek and a cyberman respectively.
I am starting to rethink my order of the Real Time Colin Baker... While it looks cool (and would have been a much better outfit for Colin in the original series) I just can't imagine displaying it.... who knows.

Good point. I wanna support this line so that CO continues to cater to the adult collector.
To be honest I'm not a big fan of the 1st or 6th Doctors but if buying these figures helps increase the chances of more characters I do want being released then I think it'll be worth it.
On what the future may hold these are figures that have been either confirmed to have been sculpted or heavily rumored,
3rd,7th & 8th Doctors
Special Weapons Dalek
Ice Warrior
Robot Mummy
Krynoid Build A Figure
On another Who forum I frequent I've seen a few complaints from younger collectors on the prices and whilst I sympathise to a degree I think this move is a necessary one as with the current economic climate Character Options would be very unwise to continue to ignore another possible avenue for making profit from what's likely their highest profile license.
