Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

I had no idea Toys R Us in California stocked these things...I've been scouring the internet, all I had to do was drive a few blocks. $12.99.

Great find Gruff!!! Great price too! There were reports of a few TRU's stocking Who figures a while back, but I thought that all ended. I guess not! I may have to stop by my local TRU and see if I can get lucky!

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

I have the Colin fig and I love it (though except for different neck adapters it is the exact same sculpt).

I got my McCoy fig and white dalek in today! I love them both. Such an awesome sculpt and the paint work is top notch.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

They definitely tweaked the paintjob for that version of Colin though. It's much closer to the original prototype.

I got home from a week's vacation today and found that mine had arrived on Friday!

One of the hands on my Sly figure seems to need a bit of heating up to pop the peg back into the wrist socket properly but is otherwise fine, I really like the sculpt and it's nice to be one step closer to completing the lineup of Classic Doctors plus 9 & 11.

The Dalek has some dodgy paintwork on some of the gold areas and I believe the eyestalk is the wrong color but in all honesty CO could've stopped making Daleks with the "Genesis" version and I'd have been happy so any inaccuracies with others doesn't bother me.

Bring on the TARDIS/7th Doctor set and the "Unearthly Child" Hartnell!

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

slightly OT but anybody (in the US) have an extra Tardis (interior) playset to sell for a reasonable price? Been looking to finally pick one up but they've really suddenly dried up over past few months.

I've got one loose in a box that I only set up once but I'm in the UK so shipping would probably be a killer.

Here's a pic of 7,

Another great figure, only Paul McGann and a Matt Smith figure to go and my lineup of 10 Doctors will be complete.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

You know, the more I see Matt Smith's costume, I think of Orville Redenbacher and have a craving for popcorn.

Is it just me?

I figured I would show my customized smiley Tom sans hat that I made yesterday. What do you guys think? I really like the smiley face with no hat.

Hey great work. What does it take to remove the hair piece?
Want to do this also.
Some of the heads I got the hair was glued on crooked.
