Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

I figure he can share the sonic screwdriver from the 2009 Specials wave. :lol

The last one took bloody AGES to set up right and I think it turned out OK though I'll redo it when I get one of the brown jacketed 7th Doctor figures as it would be a better contrast as he sort of blends in with 5's coat a bit as they're pretty much the same color.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

I love this pic:

crash.jpg

Glad you like it. I tried to reshoot it once it got dark so I could have the interior lights glowing but I can't find a suitable setting on the ( borrowed ) camera to do it as the flash either washes out the effect of the TARDIS lights or if I turn it off the picture goes all blurred.

Now the new series has started I expect images of forthcoming waves to surface soon.

Prediction for a series 5 wave
11th Doctor ( tweed suit )
Amy Pond
WW2 Dalek
Weeping Angel
Screaming Angel
Cyberman

I'm most intrested to see if we get figures of the new Silurian and Sea Devil but I'd probably buy the Screaming Angel to go with the Weeping one I can liberate from my box of unwanted Nu-Who stuff.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

Really love 11 climbing out of the TARDIS.

I can't wait until WhoNA gets the new screwdriver.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

I hear TRU has blue variants.. though I am sure those will be widely available eventually.

(love that stone head) :)

If there's even half as many rereleases of the basic figure of 11 as with the other fellow I expect it'll be easy enough to obtain. I wonder if there will be any other costume variants for 11?

The head was made by my Mum in a pottery class she did at a local college years ago when I was still a nipper. It works nicely as an alien monument in the middle of the jungle that's our back garden :)

I'm sure it'll either be the standard carded version for Wave 2 or the version included in the 11 Doctors boxed set.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

Also our favorite aussie ebayer had this pic on his 11th Doc auction (which he quickly changed afterwards). Here is a gif of the original pic and the one he replaced it with:

Can you spot the previewed product? :D

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

You mean the background in these shots? :D

Yep, great to get confirmation of at least 1 more Classic alien that's not a Dalek or Cybermen having been sculpted and I expect the minority that actually give a crap about McGann are pleased too.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

Hello! :wave

(yes we are both very pleased)

LOL! Nice to see someone with a sense of humor as if I posted that last remark elsewhere the pitchfork and burning torch mob would have been at my door ( again. )

In actual fact I'm looking forward to completing the lineup of Doctors so I can do a picture of 1-9 & 11 with a gap where 10 would go :D

I wonder if CO will rerelease a slightly redecoed Krynoid as an Axon. It would be accurate to the source material after all.

I too, am pleased..no need to search for a cheap Oscar Wilde figure anymore.

That's 2 :D

To be honest I think CO should get the rights to do an Eric Roberts Master and make a TVM 2-pack as unless they go for a villain from one of the audios that McGann has been in there's nothing else they can make from his era.

Re: New Doctor Who Figures?

Have there been any leaks revealing what we're getting this year? I assume there's a new Tardis, anyone know if they'll be doing a new playset?
