New Ghostbusters Figures

So I have this spare 12" Venkman and I have it still sealed on the white box.

I plan on listing it on ebay (so I can order IM MIV) but I'm wondering which is gonna be most affective.
Sell him sealed and just show a stock image of figure open the white mailer and take a pic of him in box? should I just photograph the sealed box?

Hi Eamon. I've listed lots of sealed figures on eBay in the past. I think it would be better for you to take a picture of your actual Peter Venkman shown sealed inside his box. Not really the white Matty mailer box. I've had good sales in the past when I always showed the figure still sealed inside its original packaging. Good luck on your auction! He should sell VERY well for you!

I got my 6" Peter Venkman in the mail yesterday. It was nice to see it come inside a white box from Matty...

Here's some pictures of it. I'm going to keep it inside the package. The only one of the four Ghostbusters 6" figures I don't have in the package is Ray Stantz. I had to get him loose here on the board since I missed him on Matty's website before he sold out.

I like the figure. It is "slimed" pretty well and evenly. I wish it was "unslimed" or regular. I hope Matty makes one of those later on. Again, I wish it didn't come with Slimer since Matty stupidly chose to put Slimer in with the SDCC exclusive Egon! Why? Plus the fact that Matty had Egon "slimed" too. I didn't like that. They should have given Egon his PKE meter at least, not Slimer! Anyway, then it would have made perfect sense for Venkman to come with Slimer as he does now since he was the ONLY one that got "slimed" by Slimer. Hmmm...go figure. Know what I mean?

Anyway, I look forward to getting the 12" Winston Zeddemore. Ernie Hudson is going to be at a horror convention here in New Orleans in October. I'd love to have him sign the package. If his 12" isn't out by then, I'll get him to sign the package for his 6" figure.

Ghostbusters Toys R Us Exclusive Pack

For those of you looking for an easier way to get the four Ghostbusters in one shot, you’ll get your chance with a Toys R Us exclusive pack. This pack will feature Ray, Pete, Winston, and Egon in their dark gray uniforms from Ghostbusters 2, and will also include Slimer – the new one with tongue hanging out.

All of the figures, including Slimer, will have on Santa hats – and I’m not sure whether the hats will be removable, but hope they are. One last note – all the GBs will have ungloved hands and pant legs tucked in, so they’ll all have identical sculpts for their bodies.

I wasn't sure about the Retro-Action (Mego style) GB line, but after seeing pics of the SDCC exclusive variant, I might have to get it!!
