I just think the marshmellow variants, just like the ray with the mattel line, are sorta lame. granted this one looks more accurate and pretty nifty, I cant see myelf plunking down for it.

That said, I'm very excited for the DS line, honestly I am blown away by the detail and those terror dogs, damn! I am so excited! plus I cant stand the shiny plastic sheen the mattel figures have, too toy ish. even the louis tully is much slicker then the mattel one, but I where mattel is better is the asscaeories.

sidenote, the new fembusters looks terrible with the trailer, it looks like ****ing scoobydoo trash. I mean look at the trailer for SD and compare https://youtu.be/b-mArPr_Txg

I'm intrigued with the 1/12 GB as well. I will most likely get those too. I just hope someone starts doing some of the variants/characters no one has done yet like DST's Janine or the terror dogs that haven't been done since neca.

They're making 1/12 ghostbusters figures and they would like to do an Ecto 1...if it's possible.

Yeah i knew they would do an ecto 1. They were supposed to be releasing a 1/15 scale version of it following the bbtf vehicles but never did so i guess this is what they were planning all along.

Nostalgia is a very strong feeling & this new movie puts a stain on it for many
The crappy new Robocop or Total Recall or Point Break do not stain the originals. Nor will this. If it's crap then it will be forgotten just like the movies I mentioned. There's that old history thing again that folks never seem to learn from.

I just fail see to point in a post like those above. They add zero to converstation, are extremely childish and utterly pointless. The movie is coming out weather entitled fanboys like to or not.

Claps. Agreed.

I've loved the entire Ghostbusters franchise my entire 33 years(movies, toys, cartoons, comics, etc) and I'm sick of all of this too. Why don't we give this movie a chance before we decide it's terrible? It doesn't look bad to me. I have doubts I'd like it like the originals but whatever.

My biggest issue is Melissa McCarthy...just not a fan of her at all and I have no desire to see any movie she is associated with. I agree with Eamon though that it isn't going to stain the franchise. The original Ghostbusters movie will always be one of the greatest comedies made IMO...nothing can change that.

Let's tone down the tone a bit, people. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean you need to take an aggressive, insulting stance toward them.

Not to challenge you dude but are you seriously saying that this post isn't aggressive, filled with hate and totally unnecessary?

"I don't know about anyone else, but I am so looking forward to seeing the new *******ization bomb. Someone give these 4 women plungers and we can call it "turd busters" because that's exactly what this movie will be."

Am I wrong I calling this post bizarre and stupid? Which is I think a polite way of putting it. :)
Is pointing it out worse than saying it?

It's one thing to post an opinion toward a film or product (however classless it may be). It's another to post an opinion to another member's perspective, via insults. There is less wiggle room on the forum for the latter.

All I can say in reply is that I think hateful comments like that do more damage to a forum than someone else pointing it out. Comments like that is more befitting the bile filled stuff you see on youtube, unmoderated news feeds and not a forum about more upmarket collectibles. I believe in calling a spade a spade and i never ever understood the need to avoid that on forums. But I will respect your rules on this and say no more.

Looking back at that post, I think you're right regarding that particular comment. The admin doesn't want us playing too much of a censorship role, but there are posts that go over the line in terms of going beyond just stating opinions to being fairly offensive on some level, and that's probably one of them. So, it has been deleted.

Just a man delivering news here so don't attack me, lol...noticed the female Ghostbusters figures were on clearance at Target today...marked down to $13.98
