Holy crap! The 1/6 figure looks awesome! I will buy that for sure :rock But Fall 2009 :monkey2 Why so long a wait?!?

Seems like Matty Collector is going to be in the business of blowing minds :rock

these are cool, well frm the 1st link im liking the sculpt of dan ackroyd and harold ramis, who look like moulded uniforms, as for the other 1 is it supposed 2 b ray?? frm that angle i aint keen on the face but the uniform it cool. the boots NEED to be leather tho!!

im glad they look different to the customs being made up, means i can still go ahead and get a customized set aswel!!

Wut? Please explain?

Prototypes of 6" figures are sculpted two times larger than the final product to show better detail and they are shrunken down when they are mass produced.

The ones with sculpted clothes will be produced in the 6" scale while the one with clothing will be produced in 12" scale.

Wut? Please explain?

A 2-up is a figure that is twice the size of what the final figure will be. Basically a lot of smaller scale figures are sculpted twice as large... that way when they are reduced to a smaller size there is a lot of detail.

So basically if the final figure will be 6" tall, it was originally sculpted 12" and then shrunk. At least that is my understanding.

Wut? Please explain?

The fully sculpted ones are large size mock-ups for what the 6" line will be. When they are produced they get scaled down. They produce the big ones to get the details in there before pantographing it down to 6".... Wow, that is clear as mud... anyone help me out here?

aahh right iunderstand.

so as the 12" cloth figs are only availble at mattys site, will the regular 6" be availble in most other collector stores ?? or r they exclusives 2?
