Seeing as I had the old 1/6 version, I could probably handle a 1/4 P2... *flexes non-existent muscles*

If they do a 1/4 P2, that is.
I think I'll buy the standard one they're working on right now (maybe even two of them, one to keep mint in the box), then sell whatever's necessary if his big brother ever comes out.

It will be awesome to see P2 with the new bodies HT are using for the preds!

Indeed. I dig the slightly chubby look they gave Shadow's legs. Spitting image of P2's physique, right there. It's because of that figure that I wasn't too surprised they announced a P2 remake -- but I was ecstatic. 2012 1/6 Figure of the Year for me, and it hasn't even come out yet.

When we have our kickass giant Predator trio, however slightly inaccurate they may be (we'll deal with it), we'll be sure to check in on you and the empty shelf you cleared out in vain.

The guy's terrible at Aliens, not at Predators. Granted he isn't perfect either, but he's been getting better and if you can't see at least a glimmer (if not more) of P1 in his newest figure, that's on you. Open-mouthed head says it all.
With December's announcement, it's clear he's fallen in love with sculpting these characters and he can only improve with time. It's not like he doesn't care.



Maybe before you start handing out death threats to toy sculptors, you should... You know what? I won't even finish this sentence; the beginning of it alone shows how ridiculous some of your posts are. Just saying.

...remember that his last product i bought put me in hate for HT predators for several weeks. oh no, it's months now. my friends understand that something very strong only could put "me", "predators" and "hate" into one sentence.

WOW...I can't believe someone is bashing the sculpting on the new HT preds... sucks for you that you see them that way...but it's your opinion...

How is the armor as you put it "laaame"? What about it is lame specifically?

well i personally think the opposite. people who like good things win, people who love bad things loose. but it depends.

low detail. bent/chewed lines that should be mechanically straight. no colors for shadow in low areas/light in high ones. no complex details, one piece sculpt.
i took apart p1 and classic armor to make a combination, same for p2 and shadowpred, and i had plenty of opportunity to compare "old school" to "new".

Until I had classic in hand I had the intention of keeping P1, but after I had them side by side I noticed that they just don't match, even with his limited articulation Classic looks better, not just the paint, the body proportions, the dreads, the mandibles, everything, of course there is room for improvement but the figure as it is, is just awesome.
