what's so funny?

I think just that its very unlikely anyone whose planning to sell 2 highly sought-after figures is going to specifically look for a buyer who will only pay the bare minimum - a 'reasonable' price - when they could put it to ebay and get a lot more money. Its kind of a naive request. He also highlighted where you said you don't do paypal which is just another big strike against your ambition because pretty much all transactions here are via paypal.

And Jay, this is nothing against you personally but:

1) You don't want to pay fair market value for Dutch and P1 Pred (extremes aside, the rates on ebaY aren't really much different than what members'll charge you here). They go for this much because the majority of collectors feel there is enough value in them to pay those prices. But you don't want to. This is the first big warning sign for any seller.

2) You can't use paypal, basically negating any minute amount of protection the seller has. Why? That brings us to point number 3...

3) You live outside of U.S. jurisdiction (which means you could send a money order/western union the cash for both, get them, and then report the payment as fraud - basically getting a refund and keeping the toys.

Now, I'm not saying this is you. So don't think that. But we don't know you from Adam, and there're many people who've joined just to defraud this board's members and take them for their cash and collectibles.

Hey Predator 1 fannatics , I just watched the Predator 1 last week (I shouldn't watched that film..you'll understand why in the latter part) and it ain't that bad as some critics says, in fact I love it! I think it's the best Predator film to date. So here goes the problem, now I want a HT Dutch & Classic Predator to be added in my collection! What's the going price of these figures nowadays? It's still worth it to get those 2 this time?

My custom Major Dutch.
None are originally from HT 'Dutch'.
Cust head (no camo paint) and T800 body from ebay, the rest are those accessories left from other figures or self-made from unused clothes.
This one not that cheap though, around $180 in total cost. But I enjoyed the process of the making. Haha.

Wow, thats pretty good! I like the head! Funny that I just mentioned in another thread how I think the eyes on the HT Dutch headsculpt look a bit odd and then I see this thread again where you're figures eyes wouldn't bother me at all.

I can understand the price, mine is made from HT Dutch parts and a T-800 body and I have $300+ in mine; not even counting shipping (picture is some pages back). That's what I get for buying everything loose for EBay in steady of just buying a second boxed Dutch.

Wish I'd bought a second T-800 from T-2, but it's to late for that (cost). I made sure to order two T-800's from T-1 though.

By the way, watched Predator 1987 so many times, still can't confirm whether the colour of the vest for Dutch is pure black or black plus brown like HT version?

I think it was brown but it was mostly wet in the film, giving it that darker color.

@Furious1: Agree on this bro. Yah, it became dark because of it's wet effect throughout the movie.

do some update on the weapons.
1) seasoned a bit the rifle grenade launcher part (the rifle's model not movie accurate, still looking for the correct one)
2) To cut cost, so paper made machete, the cutting not good though, but acceptable as hardly pull out of the sheath.
