i really dont get how you guys think this is better than the ss version, it looks like a large hasbro action figure just like the smaller popbox version that's selling for around $500, no way close to the epic pose/guns of the ss version.

bumble bee looks better but not prepared to pay those kind of prices from a unknown vendor.

It's difficult for me to buy a statue with standing straightly pose, arms and legs pointing down like an action figure. The only selling piont is the detail and masked/unmaked head but maybe the big and heavy also makes it attractive.....for some people.

They are also poseable.

I like the pic of the leg in front of the CM Darth Vader box. The paint doesn't look perfect, but then, nothing ever is. I like it, looks impressive. Thanks for the pics.

These are far more impressive to me than the SS Optimus......FAR MORE!!! I saw the SS Optimus in person and it looks great, but not like these. The fact that these are semi-poseable and have switch out parts and lighting functions make these the highest end in TF movie collectibles.

Looks righteous!!! Thanks for the pics!!

You definitely can't have it all. The sideshow optimus (I have it) while awesome, can appear a little thin from some angles, while this one appears a little too stocky. I don't like how far the legs are apart at the hips.

Each one has its own good points. I wouldn't mind having both, however. :)

Wow looks really nice, very tempted now but the price is a big turn off!! Thanks for the pics, hope to see more.

Right. I'm sure the one you just got is the best. :lol

Nah, they're both slightly inaccurate. It's a matter of weighing the positives and negatives of both and picking out the one with the most positives (to you).

Not just to me. SS's own staff think they missed the mark too. The positives and negatives are obvious. But some can never see.
