I work in toys industry in Japan I went visite a company from a friend
If you guys are willing to wait another optimus will be reveal during this year pack of features (sorry i cant say anything about it)
far more accurate and also 24inch tall pretty impressive!
should wait for this one!

Tell the manufacturer, when they announce a price... either stick with that price or lower it. Don't move the price the other way. In other words, don't go all Calibre Toy style on us.

they will the price will be fix ! in the industry you must decide the price before contract with the licensor changing it will be very unprofessional

The Calibre one is pretty detailed with alot of parts. Will the new one be better? Perhaps you can provide more specs ie pose, light up, estimated price.

24 inch is definately better but need to know more before forgoing the calibre OP.

I received Calibre Prime two weeks ago. When I first saw it, I found it was impressive with its imposing look and strong body which stands 20 1/4 inches without base. Yet, the more I looked at it the more I found many of the body parts were inaccurately produced though Calibre emphasized these statues including Bee were produced according to the CGI file of the movie. I believe they have their adjustments to the configuration of some body part during the production process which made it not fully screen accurate. Face plate of battle mode, eyes area, stomach area, belly plate, connection of pipes around shoulder, knee joint, fists were all wrong in configuration or shape. There should be 4 pistons at the belly but it is now missed but replaced by a belly plate that should be placed behind those pistons for a TF3 Prime (Calibre is making DOTM version Prime and Bee). It might look intricate, it is not accurate. The articulation sucks too. Knee can bend 20 degree but ankle fixed. Head cannot turn. Such articulation is poorer than that of action figure and it is totally pointless that its articulation is an advantage. To me, only the back, lower leg and feet are relatively screen accurate, otherwise, disappointed.

I rather see the Prime you revealed like some Japanese model kit like Gundam with tons of tiny parts to assemble as a Prime and it will probably be versatile.

Is it manufactured according to movie computer file or being screen accurate?

I had a long conversation about movie computer file
probably Calibre toy received the old version of optimus prime files
the Dark of the moon model many parts was redfine also
the proportion was change to make him more heroic.
