Beautiful work Legion. Looks like he's popping right out of the comics! Base looks great as well. Kick *** job.

I was lucky enough to get Stan the Man to sign my Spider-man PF at Planet Comicon in Kansas City last weekend!

I was thinking of having him sign the girder too. Either the Spidey statue since he's his most famous creation, or a Cap shield.

There were some people getting some Cap stuff (including shields, of course) signed by Stan at Planet Comicon, though I was a bit perplexed by it since he's one of the few major Marvel heroes that Stan didn't create. To each his own, though!

The signature looks great on the statue. I've seen a few people get the bottom signed and then they have no way to display it. I like how it almost blends in as graffiti too, so doesn't look weird even if you didn't know what it was.

Yeah. I don't really have any iconic prop or item for him to sign, other than the shield, haha. I know he got his first writing credits on the Cap comics but Simon and Kirby were the creators. His autograph can easily be displayed on the shield as well compared to the statue, but yeah, I would always associate Spider-Man with Stan first and foremost with the X-Men coming in at a close 2nd followed by the Avengers, namely Hulk then Iron Man and then the rest. I just wish I had something more significant of Spidey's that he could sign.

Time is running out

Clock is definitely ticking. I'm so glad I got his signature on my 1/4 classic Spidey COM (and a few other pieces as well). The only other statue I have that I would really like to get his signature on would be my XM Mags. Don't think that's going to happen though.
