I think it looks great. I'll be ordering mine on Thursday. Can't wait for Maul and Vader to be posed with this.

...just me then.
I'm going to bet the thought process here was to make it so that Sidious would be on eye-level with most of the currently available figures. It's film inaccurate, but I think this may have been an acceptable trade-off.The Earl of Dunfield said:Here is a scene capture

Now, assuming everything is 1/6 scale in the picture, to make something 1/8 you would scale it by 6/8 (or make it 75% of the size)
Ive done that here

As you can see - its the exact size as the toy (actually the toy is even a little smaller)

The SDCC chair is absolutely 1/8 scale, not 1/6 - this was a major error.
Buttmunch said:Anyone have a screen cap other than the one above? I'm not entirely sure the Holo is that big. It is the closest thing to the camera in that shot and therefore can make it seem bigger than it really is. The holo in that pic seems to be the same size as Sideshow's. I think it is the chair that might be small. Either way, I'm sure there were different sizes of mechno-chairs and holographs in the universe so the size won't bother me at all, besides a smaller size may be saving us in the price category.![]()
Hi all,
The LCD display at C4 showed $40 (attendee edition). Each podium had an LCD with the product and pricing info. Also, the legs on the Mechno-chair are articulated and the LED is powered by two watch-type batteries.

Less than I was expecting.
