. . . It amazes me when people can make an assessment about NFL teams not in their home market. :thud:
LULZ

I still say you can't judge a guy after a single season. He's just not had a chance to prove what he can do once he's had an opportunity to get settled in. If he brought McNabb in, then that is his bad because he's been done for awhile now, but I'm not sure the Vikes had a menu of great options to choose from in terms of QBs to take over their team. There's always the chance a guy can come in a la Kurt Warner after having a bit of a lull and can revive their career a bit, so maybe he was making that unfortunate gamble.

FINAL
Cleveland....3
Pittsburgh..14

This use to be an intense, entertaining, rivalry grudge match before the Browns left for Baltimore. But man oh man, what the hell has happened to the Cleveland organization since they got their team back? Basically, they've been mediocre to brutal.

In my own opinion, you can't call this a continuation of the rivalry between the teams. This Browns team is, in reality, just an expansion team that has earned niether hate nor respect. I feel that Cleveland made a mistake by keeping the name. I understand why they did it, and I was glad they did when it happened. But I don't think it is benefitting the team at all.

Monday Night is Rams @ Seahawks? Wow. Whatever happened to that Flexgames idea?

I don't think MNF is flex.

Yeah, I just read up on it and it is Sunday Night Football only (so the agreement must only be with NBC) and only Sunday afternoon games can be moved to Sunday Night (edit - which negates my assumption that the agreement is only with NBC)...AND it is only a few weeks out of the year toward the end of the season. I guess that gives teams time to show who might rate a change into prime time.

Yeah, way to difficult to flex a Monday night game... and heck when this was scheduled it looked like it would be a heck of a game.

Thanks for the info. I remember hearing about it last year or something but always wondered how we were still getting stuck with crap games.

It's amazing how bad Devin McCourty is this year. All the points the Redskins have right now are on him. A ____ing a PI call on 3 &18 when they're throwing a 6 yard slant. Time for the bench.

Finally saw the Harrison/McCoy hit. I wish Harrison would make good on his crying and retire. The guy obviously doesn't have a brain in his skull. Everyone else seems to have adapted to the rules for the most part yet not only does he still not understand the rules of a proper hit, he tries to defend the hit and in doing so demonstrates he doesn't even understand basic rules of the game that have always been in place. The guy is either a full blown mental midget or just an _______ who doesn't care.

A little from column A, a little from column B.

I heard they're talking possible suspension. Maybe that will get through to him.:huh

Why does everyone think he should be suspended? This is week 14 and his first hit in question like this. In slo-mo every hit looks bad, and the League's determination of McCoy being a passer that far out of the pocket is lame, which is what they're trying to get him on is a roughing the passer hit. He tucked the ball and ran right at Harrison and then pull up and passed too late, getting nailed. I don't see anyone saying that Harrison was in the act of raising his forearms during that hit.

And honestly Wifford, you get on here _____ing when the Falcons are laying an egg, that's it. And you always seem to want to try and rile someone up in the process. People weren't saying the classless garbage you're spouting off about Harrison when Suh stomped that man on thanksgiving day. So if you want to get on here proclaiming another person to be mentally disabled or whatnot, then go look in the mirror. You seem to be lacking in the functioning brain cells department.

He should be suspended because he can't seem to get a ____ing clue of what a rule is. It doesn't matter if he's a runner, outside the pocket, doing jumping jacks, eating a hot dog, you can't lead with your head at another person's head. I guess you and Harrison look at the pictures of the same rule book from 1960.

I'm always in here, egg or not. I think Suh more than deserves his punishment, time will tell if he's intelligent enough to adapt and learn, something Harrison is obviously not capable of which he's openly stated when he cried about retiring. And is it even possible to come on here to proclaim something if you're wanting me to go look in the mirror instead? Or are you saying I should hang a mirror in front of the laptop and before I proclaim something look into it? Or is your face just buried in Harrison's taint and you've lost oxygen and can't think of what you mean?

Wow, he made it to week 14 without anything questionable.:lol The bottom line is that he is a repeat offender. I don't agree with a suspension, but really at what point does he get how to play within the parameters of the rules. Hit McCoy lower and everything is fine, hit with the crown of your helmet and you have everyone talking about how dirty you are again.
