I don't know if I'd say bitter or not. It was a shot to the gut especially that it was something so simple for a guy like that. That's what hurts is we gave it to them but like you said the 49ers are back and I expect another run next year. If we get a solid WR to go with Davis and Gore we will be even better.

I admit I don't follow the 49ers closely but are you saying Crabtree is not the answer at WR?

Yup, he's been a turd since we drafted him. He might be a nice #2 but he's not a #1.

Based on the list of free agent receivers I just looked at, there should be plenty of talent available. I'm not sure what the 49er cap looks like, but they could possibly upgrade.

He already is IMO.

Not a Patriots fan at all. That said he is almost perfection. He reminds of the line from Top Gun about Ice Man. I forget the exact words. He's methodical in every way.

It's the name and time and the fact that you are a Niners fan. Time will weed that out. Best QB to ever grace the NFL is Brady. I don't even like him to be honest.

Time will be kind to Brady. His resume is pretty well stocked and I could see him play at a high level for another 2-3 years barring injuries. It's hard for me to listen to other Pats fans dig at him. The guy has presided over the greatest time in the franchise's history. Things will probably never be this good again. Steve Young isn't waiting in the wings.

Agreed! One really has to wonder what types of lives these people live to be all consumed with sports and level death threats to others.

There's a certain faction though. Just go and read some sports specific message boards.....Yikes!

So would I. Much easier for Brady these days. Much more friendly rules. I'd hate to be a D going up against Montana to Rice these days.
