He's a niche player. Like Mark Recchi excels at tip-ins and like Pierre Dagenais and Marcel Hossa excelled in shoot outs. lol

So, Kaberle is FINALLY traded. I'm glad he was finally dealt so I don't have to hear another year of trade rumors about him. Boston paid a pretty good price for him. I don't know about adding D at the trade deadline. Sometimes they work out sometimes not. If Boston's system is similar to TML then it shouldn't be too bad. I remember Gonchars first year in Pitt was horrid. Both Paul Martin and Michalek seemed to struggle the first part of the season too. Good trade though for both sides though. Toronto is going to have a nice amount of early picks this year.

I like both of Chiarelli's moves today. The Kaberle deal seems to be a high price for a rental though. Of course if the pick ends up being #30 it won't hurt as much. Losing Colborne is somewhat disappointing, but with the organizational dearth of centers, who knows when he would have made the big team.

The addition of Peverley makes the Kelly addition seem even more puzzling. How many centers can you dress?
