He's needed to for a long time. The problem is Ted at this point. I guess he's happy with mediocrity as long as season tickets continue to sell and they make the playoffs.

People who praise McPhail don't look at the big picture. They talk about the pres trophy and winning the SE a few years in a row. They talk about the so called young talent.

What they don't look at is that in 14 years this team has won THREE playoff series and hasn't been past round 2. They don't look at the FACT that in 14 drafts, McPhail has had Braden Holtby be the ONLY pick after the first round to make ANY real impact on this team. Seriously, look up his second round picks and after and give me ONE name thats made any real impact here. You can't. That's pathetic. They don't look at the fact that most of his FA signings don't really work out as well as hoped. His trades are average.
