Kings over the rags in 5. I really don't see anyone stopping them at this point. Rags have not been overly impressive in any of their series.

This is Richards and Carter making Philly look dumb. :slap

Forgot Gagne.

That is exactly why I was pulling for Phoenix. You could here the snickering from those *******s all the way from Cali after that ass whooping by the devils.

Gagne has been out for a while though.

And Williams! Don't forget Justin Williams!!! btw Simon Gagne is not playing fool, and like Justin, he hasn't been a Flyer in years. He's on the IR. 7 goals and 17 points in 34 games is not really impactful. He's definitely not the stud Gagne of yesteryear. He's barely relevant now. It's barely a blip on the radar. Well, not even in these playoffs. Granted Gagne has been cleared for contact in practices. So 4 ex-Flyers going for a run in the foreseeable future. :)

And dumb? Hardly. Players get traded all the time. I could have said the same about Maxim Talbot and Jaromir Jagr. They advanced from the first round, but I wouldn't say the fact Philadelphia now has those two makes Pittsburgh dumb. The fact Pittsburgh took all those stupid pointless penalties, making monster hits that took them out of plays, exposing space and Marc-Andre Fleury to be the only means of defence.... Playing physically intimidating brutish goon hockey, and going away from their game plan, being beaten by a game of special teams, is what made them "look dumb."

Philadelphia signing Euro goalie Ilya Bryzgalov to the deal that your team signed him to was and is just plain stupid.

Pittsburgh really is dumb though. :huh

Yeah, I would take our 3 Cups to your 2 any day of the week. And the 70's didn't count. Crummy decade produced the 8-track player, disco music, bell bottoms, and suuuuuuuuucked. Like your face.

3 is more than 2. So sit down hose bag. :wave

btw Edited my above post, because I can, and because I had to perfect its awesomeness.

Who won that series though a couple weeks ago between Philly and Pit? I can't remember.........

Who won a Stanley Cup in the last 5 years? Mmmhmmm

And if you said, that's in the past. So is the 1st round of this years playoff! I hope that some fat dude buys you for a dollar and has his way with you!

Nobody (well me:nana:) cares about what happened '5 years ago' let alone last year :monkey2

It's NOW time baby! The Kings are a rollin'

now bring that CUP back to the West.:impatient:

I know it's now, my whole point exactly. I don't care who wins a first round. I care who wins it all at the end of the day. In the end, my team has 3 Cups. If LA gets one, great... that is one.

I want to see Phx, then LA, and then NJ win it. No Rangers for Cup, please.

A win by Pheonix would be a win by Bettman:stake:monkey4

Not necessarily, a Cup for LA would be great for market interest down there and it's a huge market. California doesn't get any bigger. And of course, proof of that is the recent talent coming out of California. The most recent big prospect stud is Beau Bennett. Pittsburgh Penguin's top forward prospect! Brett Sterling is from Cali. Last year's draft saw 3 Californians taken in the Draft, if memory serves me correct.

Hey *******, that's the same Philly team that just beat your Pens.

LMAO....:lol:rotfl:lol:lol

This isn't about the 70s or 5 years ago. Sports is about what have you done for me lately.

You gotta love the tired, cliched sports fans who talk about "well how many titles have you won" comparison.

Someone please quote me so Eli can see what I posted since the coward has me on ignore. :wave
