Brodeur's 4 assists in a playoffs has to be a record, or near one.

Salvadore goes 82-0-9-9 during the regular season, but is 16-3-7-10 in these playoffs. WOW!!!

I think part of the problem is that there is still a perception that they're a boring team to watch. While I think that could be true of the '95 and '00 Cup winning teams, the 2012 Devils aren't that bad to watch. They're more exciting than the Rags to me.

The perception of them being boring is due to the 95 team.

Was kinda hoping to see Marty get a shut-out last night, but NJ evening the series out was good enough. Go Devs!!!

And I think it'd be kinda cool to see Phoenix come back from a 3-0 series deficit and take that series, though I honestly don't see it happening. Either way, I don't care which of those 2 make the Finals, just hopefully we see Tortoisrela giving one of his I'm-a-____-and-don't-want-to-answer-your-questions press conferences in under 2 minutes, after NJ sends them home to watch the Finals from the comfort of their homes.

I have attended caps games for a long time. The most confrontational fans......in other words those looking for a fight.....were Flyers, Pens and Rangers fans in that order.

I've never been to their places so maybe the fans are better, but a good portion of ones who show up here are almost seeking a problem.

i've been to about 4 or 5 rangers games every year for the last 15 years or so, a few have even been games at continental and nassau, i can honestly say I have never once seen a fight off the ice.

I would not call that a punch to Brodeur, more of a stiff arm than anything. Not saying it was the right thing to do by Rupp, but the media is making a big deal over nothing. Yeah, it's pretty much just Torts for me. The rest of the team I don't mind for the most part. I actually started getting a soft spot for him during the 24/7 show when he was hanging around that disabled kid. But, he fell from grace quickly when he through his hissy fit when Orpik had a knee on knee with one of his players(did not knock him out the next game.) Go back 4 months ago or so and his own player Rupp had the same situation that knocked Staal out for 6 weeks. Did you hear anything from the Pens organization? No. He is a classless scumbag period.
