habs whoopin that ass

Red Wings showed zero respect for their opponent.
It's as if they came in thinking they could beat the Habs in their sleep.

To anyone caring to keep count, in 5 games since the trade, Bourque has 2 goals and 1 assist (+1) and Cammy has 1 goal (-4).

I gotta say, I like Cole. Is he the next Habs C or is it Gorges?
It's becoming painfully clear that the jersey with the C is too big for Gionta. Too bad about his injury.
I think the Habs would have tried to trade him. Meanwhile, Gomez is inching close to an entire year without a goal.
At what point does a player who appears to have lost his game start thinking about retirement? This is ridiculous.

I think someone on the Habs will take out PK before anyone else in the NHL does. Sheesh. He even got Plekanec to drop the gloves. Plecanec is one of the biggest sissies in the league... lol

Didn't Hal Gill call him an a$$hole to the media? :lol

How is he still a Hab if all this hearsay crap is going on? I say hearsay unless we have physical proof that these players have said these things. I believe it, but I like credible evidence to support the information.

I'd assume the Habs are holding out hope that he matures and soon. Sometimes it takes a change of scenery for it to happen like Phil Kessel.

Habs letting go of young talent before they reach their prime. Thats new.
Unless a major deal is offered, I thnk PK is here to stay for a while.

I dont see them trading him either, I would take a oggd amount to ship him off

As for lasts night game, the Wings mailed it in, and when they didnt convert early and the Habs did, they just didnt bother. Games before a all star break usually go this way.

The crappy part for the Habs is the break kills their momentum, what is Gomez going to do now lol

Did Price (inadvertently?) snub Chara at the all star draft? He walked right past him and didn't shake his hand.
It looked like every other player shook hands with their Captain and Assistant Captain.
At the very least, one could say that Price didn't go out of his way to shake hands with Chara.

The Sens fans chanting "overrated" when Phaneuf was picked is a joke, Sens fans still bitter over the whoop ass'ing Leafs gave them every year they met in the post season.

I want to see more of this happending as the Battle of Ontario continues..

Saku Koivu is IMO one the most overrated Captains ever.

Pretty much every Canadian teams fans minus the Leafs have something to cry about when it comes to the Leafs since there are so many Leaf fans clogging up their buildings whenever the team is in town, Sens fans cry more because their team has had no success against the Leafs.

Phaneuf is extremely overrated and IMO he got the captaincy in Toronto because there was no one else to give it to

He is the most outspoken guy in the room and brings some energy to it and has helped lead them to becoming a far better team then they have been the last six years, all the players on the team acknowledge this including coaching staff and management.

It was a no brainer to give him the C but, his play just got better and better after he came back from that nasty cut he got on the leg.

So says the biased Leafs fan who can see no wrong by his team. Not disagreeing with you, but also think you overrate your players too much. I do think Sundin and Koivu were overrated. But then again, I feel the same about Ladd. Best Canadian team captain to me is Jarome Iginla.

As big as that hit was on Stephane Da Costa, the kid got right back up and plugged away at it. Kid has heart. One day should be a solid player for the Sens. I have him in my keeper league.

Not to many players in the NHL today are throwing big time clean hits in the league like Phaneuf and thats one of the reasons i think players hate playing against him, that and the fact he won't fight after he throws his weight because he doesn't need to and there is no reason for it.

I'm not trying to big up the Captain here, he has a really hard shot that always hits the glass more then a person in front, nevermind hitting the goal.

I don't think he is overrated though, he is a star defenseman for sure who can bring lots to a team physically and defensively.
