Also, I find it funny in the breakaway challenge practically every shooter scored on the goalies. I think head office said last year it was boring for the fans to see all these players do all these fancy movies but unable to produce any results... guys who try to be too flashy end up getting stopped. Keeping things simple, fast, and unpredictable gets better results. This may have been 2 years ago. Actually, it was, when Kovalev was a somewhat serviceable to good NHLer still. Yeah, it was during Stamkos rookie year actually. So like 4 years ago! HA! Shows how much I watch these ASG crap, and how fast time goes by.

Anyway, no way a goalie lets in Patrick Kane or Corey Perry's goals. For those reasons alone, even the skills competition is a joke. The whole thing is ridiculous.

I am just saying it is silly that the goalies dumbed it really down (big-time to the point were it's fake) to make it look good. If it actually counted for something, they would have been able to stop everyone of those shots. Pointing out an obvious and being outright mad are two different things.

So while, I won't tell you to chill, I'll simply say... whatever girlfriend. *hip out and finger snap*

I am in a 30 team H2H 24 roster (16 protect) keeper league that has 29 men and 1 women in it. Yes, a women. I know, it's crazy! Anyway, I have been in this league for 12 years and have been the most dominate team in the league's history. I may try and win it all again this season, but I went completely in rebuild mode, and have a very young, but capable roster which sits at No. 3 out of 30 teams. I been unfortunately stuck down at that spot due to injuries and guys like the Da Costas of the world, who I figured would have been up full-time. So my question to all of you is. Do I sit on this roster and keep building for tomorrow, since all my guys are young and ripe (btw Heater maybe moved for Adam Henrique or Paul Stastny), or do I go after some vets to replace my young guns and prospects and go for the Gold, now?

Of course the goalies could have stopped them all. They are 'trick shots'. You really think if Corey Perry whipped out a toy hockey stick during a shootout he'd be able to score??? It's just for entertainment. Showmanship is a big part of that. Can't believe you'd really wanna cheer on the goalies in a competition like this.

Either way, I am not a fan of the whole festivities. So I am biased in my opinion. Oh, and it's the only opinion worth a damn, do not forget that Craw!

Also, I hear Flower will be the first player ever inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame while still playing. No retirement needed. Just get him to the Hall!

Downie is a disgrace to the NHL. He is a loose cannon who is just asking for it every game..unfortunately that's his tactic at getting under player's skins and getting them to draw penalties to bring out the 1-3-1 on the PP and get goals.

I just hate how he isn't respectful or a classy player. Nor a gentleman for that matter. He just yaps his mouth, fights players who don't fight and throws out dirty hits and punches.

Is it because his Dad was killed driving him to hockey practice as a kid? Maybe that is what's causing his anger problems?

Regardless, he's a ____-up and I'd love to see Chara beat his sorry ass again anyday, anytime

Now there is your biggest POS player ever right there folks. Gillies! Guy attacks Tangradi, a rookie who isn't overly physical, and sucker punches the poor kid. Gets kicked out of the game, and when Eric is on the ice cradling in pain the douche that Gillies is starts badgering him from the door. ____ing clown. Players like him have no place in the sport. He can't play defence or score. Even in Junior he failed to get 20 points. He's a pure goon, and not even a good or smart one at that. He's a cancer. Now Gillies, I loathe.
