That made me raise an eyebrow as well. Buffalo had a pretty good deadline day. I expected them to move Roy as well, but I guess no decent offers on him. 1 rounder for Gaustad and getting Hodgens was a good day for the Sabres.

Zanon going to my Bruins is a small but effective deal. He's a pretty good defensive player and likes to hit, and can play 20 minutes.

also think Zidlicky to New Jersey could be an impact deal. Get Zidlicky on the powerplay with Kovy, Parise, Elias is a nice addition. He's having a down year, but hes been playing in that Minnesota system that is last in scoring. New Jersey now could be a sleeper team if Zidlicky clicks in NJ.

sad to see how Atlanta/Winnipeg basically got nothing for Kovalchuk because they dealt away Oduya and Bergfors last 2 years.

We got picks for Oduya so it's a good deal from our end. We didn't have the team when Kovalchuk left, and from the sounds of his demands, we're better off with these picks than him. People get too caught up with the name.

Gardiner gave the puck away and then decides to step away from the shot which results in a goal, lousy play but, i'm not going to ____ on him since he's done so much good for the team this year.

Just remember the Leafs had Jamie Macoun on the blue line for years. Compared to him Shenn looks like a hockey genius.

If by passionate you mean delusional, then sure. Every year its the same thing for both these teams, "were winning this year" and they miss the playoffs? 1 line will get you know where, and thats essentially all both clubs have.

Dont worry about the Pens, even w/o Crosby they can beat any team

Tonight is MAF in a nutshell, plays awesome for 39 minutes, then lets in a stinker glove side in the last minute of the second. 20 minutes left I have faith in him as he kept us in it so far.

For one the Pens beat the Leafs 5-4 in Jan and lost the others by one goal. But who gives a ____?? You are hanging to a single regular season accomplishment??

Man the Leafs ____in suck, and once again they wont make the playoffs (when was the last time they were even in them) and the usual off season bull____ will carry on, fire the coach, trade the whole team, blah blah. Bottom line they are ____ ____ ____

Yet TO carries on like they are some dynasty..a dynasty of failure.

Not delusional at all, the Leafs are playing poor right now, doesn't mean i'm going to hate the team, they've played some exciting hockey this season. Hockey is #1 here in Ontario and this is the main reason Leaf fans want a winner, there is not much else to fall back on.

Its always easy for guys like you to hate on the Leafs, i think fans just want that day to come where guys like you would STFU(we are long overdue) because really you're Pens are not the Detroit Red Wings. You make it sound like i'm constantly in here saying the Leafs are going to win the cup blah blah blah, you're Pens are good but, i'd doubt they go anywhere in the playoffs since teams like Detroit and St.Louis will own them, hell i bet Ottawa would beat them in a series 4-2.
