If only the Bruins could get goal scorers like Tyler Seguin....

I feel like this one will be a replay of 2010. Hope to get the first goal, then pray for a shutout.

Think they will struggle this year, krejci back tonight and already scored, they are going to need 30 from him and 25 from Marchand and lucic

No idea. Also, Maurice is showing it isn't entirely all on Noel. Jets team sucks ****.

Pittsburgh is doing well. James Neal ver 2.0 is doing very well for us. 4-4-4-8... nice stat line.

He's looking great so far, Neal only got his first goal last night, our D has to toughen up though

Eakins suffers another brutal loss and he's gonzo

I don't know, they were the laughing stock of the league last year and he still had a job this season, and despite some ugly losses this Fall, he still is gainfully employed. I think it would take suck of epic proportions... like Quebec Nordiques/Ottawa Senators/San Jose Sharks epic terribad from the early 90's. When 70 losses was not only possible, it seemed to be the staple marker for epic sucksville. Considering they now possess a team of 3 former 1st overall draft picks and now a top 3 pick this past year, and with the addition of landing the biggest College player in Schultz at the time, and a great young top sixer in Perron, they still manage to suck worse than the Penguins ever did during the "potential relocate to Winnipeg" days. I don't get it, Colorado (mind you they are sucking balls this Fall), Chicago, and Pittsburgh have done way more with lesser pick selections ... all three teams became regular season juggernauts and two of the three have won a total of three Stanley Cups between them, so what happened? What's wrong? Oh besides lack of scoring from their former top draftees, help from the D, goaltending, and coaching. So pretty much everything that isn't named Taylor Hall. Their one bright hope. lol

The problem I have with James Neal is not the fact he's a complimentary player and needs great talent to make him productive, but it's because he's a complimentary player that needs highly skilled players to make him productive. Okay, so I said the same thing with a bit of word change.

With Pittsburgh he had a happy relationship. Pittsburgh got a great complimentary winger for Malkin, which also meant an elevated and happy Geno. The two played beautifully off of each other. 11/12 was a great example of what those two could do together. Neal's worth had skyrocketed. We had a money player on the PP with his release. Now that's all gone. I am sorry, as much as I like what Hornqvist has done, it's a small sample size as it stands. Then there's also the nagging feeling we lost the best PP weapon ... nobody scored more PP goals in the prorated games since Neal adjusted to the Pens. Also he's being used as Crosby's linemate, which is going against the initial idea that would be Malkin's replacement winger to Neal. Sure they play together on the PP, but that's a given. It's been a 4 forward and 1 dman PP.... and of course that could change. A healthy Dupuis puts Hornqvist back on Malkin's intended line, which is appropriate. Even elite players need skilled complimentary guys. Beyond Hornqvist, the prospects for Malkin are rather... what's another word for crap? Oh yeah, that four letter word that gets censored on here! I wished Neal wasn't such a dimebag, because he has nobody in Nashville that offers him what Malkin, and Malkin and Crosby on the PP did, nor even a Brad Richards in Dallas, when Brad Richards was good. He's playing with a regressing playmaking headcase in Mike Ribeiro... his other option is band-aid boy and lives in a suit case, D. Roy, who I really like but hasn't been his former All-Star self since his shoulder got wrecked. I mean there is Forsberg and Jarnkrok, but they still don't give Neal what he had available to him in Dallas, and more-so in Pittsburgh.

I hope Hornqvist can keep this up. So far, so good. What's your take on Spaling? I haven't seen him play enough to get a good gage on his game. Back to Neal, what a waste of a great situation. That guy could have potentially given us another 50 goal scorer. That's where I saw his ceiling with the Penguins. *sigh*

Great recap on Neal, I agree so far to small a sample size to see how 72 will fit in, hoping when all is said and done they end up more like the 09 team, with Malkin carrying the load and Sutter finally being that Staal type on the third line.

Like you haven't noticed Spaling much either, more impressed with Comeau to be honest

Still think we are lacking that team toughness especially without Bortuzzo in the line up. We will find out on Wednesday when we play those *******s from accross
the state.

Back to Edm, they lose tonight, you dump Eakins, trade one of t eh big guns and you can still salvage the season, they can't be garbage again this year

Surprise, surprise, the Oilers are winning as I type this. Who's saving them? You guessed it, their sole stud, Taylor Hall. They should change the team's name to the Edmonton Taylor Hall and the ***** Cats.

Of course it doesn't help that Tampa lost their best player this year (so far (and no it's not Stamkos))... Victor Hedman.

I met Randy Carlyle. Nice guy. Great defenseman and was a seemingly good coach (won a Stanley Cup with Anaheim), before he went to Toronto. I feel for him. TO is hurting his legacy.
