By your broom, I hope you mean in general or the fans/supporters of the Ducks. I am a Flames fan and have been before it was popular to join the bandwagon. I have gone on about Gaudreau even before the season started. I even got his first goal puck when nobody knew how good he was or would be and the Flames were even considered a team that could vie for a playoff spot.

Oh and Bennett and Monahan were some of my favourite prospects in the years they were drafted. I wanted the Jets to land Monahan. Knew we had no chance at Bennett. Monahan was more of a I hope he falls to us sort of thing. Even then I was reaching. lol

A 3-1 series lead is never a safe lead for the Caps. However, I'm much happier being up 3-1 than down 3-1.

What a crazy finish between the Hawks and Wild tonight. Glad the series is over. I can not believe that the Wild never had a lead the entire series. Looking forward to the Conference finals.

I like Calgary because of a few guys and think they have a great story. My Jets and Pens are out of it.

Quoted for truth. If this was a Pittsburgh Penguins team, the Caps would be out in 3 more games. Even Kit wouldn't argue this. History is a harsh mistress.

Nah, they beat Rags in 7 a few years ago, beat the B's in 7 on Ward's OT goal under Hunter and beat the Isles in 7 this year in the last series.

Sadly though, if they lose tomorrow they will have 5 series that they've led 3-1 and lost 4-3. 5 in 40 years. The next closest team has 2.

Oh, and the Caps were never even in the playoffs in the 70s. Didn't make until they traded for Langway in 82 and that started a playoff run of 15 seasons I think, but of course they've still only been in the conference finals twice and the cup final once......and boy did that go well LOL
