So everyone has been on Rick Nash not being relevant in post season action. 3 goals and 7 points in his last 3 games says hello. What a scoring clinic put on from that line.

But as I said, with the others guys producing, it was him mainly that needed to start in order for them to move and he dicd

Brassard is just one of those guys who goes bonkers in the post season but isn't elite during the regular season. He set or tied all kinds of franchise NYR records this post season and in game 6. Rangers need to get it done in game 7 or it's all for nothing though.

I m in one of those pick a player from each group pools, with 20 groups, for, def and team. I loaded up on Rangers and Hawks only. If they can both win, then the last round is futile, as I've already won.

:lol

Did anyone else do the Bracket Challenge on NHL.com? My bracket is still holding up decently, but I eliminated the Hawks early bc I thought CHI lost Kane for the post season due to an injury, but I can't recall what it was atm. :gah: Had I known he were able to play, I'd of picked CHI to advance but I have the Ducks/Blues in the Western ECF and Rangers/Bolts in the Eastern ECF.

Hawks vs Lightning! Can't believe the Hawks just took it to the Ducks like that. I honestly thought it was going to be a tight game that went down to the wire like just about every game in the series. I know the Ducks recent history just repeated itself but I thought the addition of Kesler would give them a great chance to finally make it to the Stanley Cup Finals. Kesler even talked a big game and said all the Ducks hitting would wear the Hawks down and payoff in game 7. Hawks looked pretty fresh to me. :lol Kesler is a great player but I never liked him or any of his teamates when he was with the Nucks. I'm good with him going yet another year without attaining the cup.

The Finals should be exciting. 2 fast and skilled teams going at it this year. Hope the Hawks can pull it out.

So, I start my 3 week vacation overseas today. :banghead This is what happens when I let the wife make vacation plans. In all honesty, I didn't think the Hawks would get this far because of Kane's injury. There's no way I thought he'd be back in time to start the playoffs. He wasn't supposed to be back before the WCF. I'm going to have to record the series. I hope that I get a chance to watch it live while I'm gone. If I do get a chance to watch it live, the 7 hour time difference is gonna be murder. :lol

GO HAWKS!

Europe?

They did that for every round and it's not just Tampa Bay that did that, but multiple American franchises. Also, this is old news. See date on article. :p

Did you wash it?

Heck no, hoping their DNA is still on it and I can start farming clones of them.

Make a bunch of hockey players and live on their income. Muawahahahaha!

Seriously though, one doesn't wash a game worn jersey. They air the sucker out.... I remember when I got a Cory Schnieder right after a game, it was drenched in sweat and wreaked of body oder. Some good ol' air drying and a solid week, both the sweat and smell were removed.

It's kind of weird, but some collectors of gamers get off on jerseys with blood on it. Ha!

I love collecting gamers over SideShow even. I love the one-of-a-kind aspect they possess. The fact you own a part of the player's history, and damage? Pffft, bring it on! The more wear and tear on a jersey, the happier the collector. Mind you it has to come from playing hockey. Not from a cat or dog having at it or an angry ex taking her frustration on you with your jersey.

It tells a story sometimes. I am a passionate hockey fan and I love to own its history, as much as I possibly can. My goal is to build a super man cave with a bar, with functioning beer taps a la Ned Flanders.

P.S. I still love my SideShow, but NHL gamers > SideShow Statues....

ya if I could build a signed jersey or hockey memrobila collection I would over my ssc stuff, that's stuff just raked up more space than I have

Yup. I was watching game one at Chili's in O'hare airport. Was able to catch most of the game before boarding my plane. Now I'm on my phone trying to get updates for game 2 at 3 am while my family is sleeping. :lol Hawks are down a goal. Hope they can steal this one in the 3rd as well.
