He didn't believe us when we told him the Caps came back and won. Needless to say, that put him in a good mood

minnesota ties the series after the avs tie the game with less than a minute left after pulling their goalie. ryan smyth misses a golden opportunity to give the avs a 2-0 series lead in ot but gets the puck poked off his stick looking at a wide open net. wild score in ot to win game 3-2.

it would have been way too much to expect going into minnesota and winning both but the avs proved they are going to be tough to beat. theodore looked great but someone had to win this one. evenly matched great series so far. games 3 and 4 in colorado on monday and tuesday. maybe colorado can shift the balance of power their way at home.
