Is he saying, "Shut the **** up?"

If so, why can we only read lips when it comes to profanities? lol

In any case, move on guys.. and hope that someone kicks Avery's ass!

Hey Eli...Whats your prediction on the Pens-Rangers series? Sid the Kid gonna make the difference?

Malkin will. He has been the "it factor" in these playoffs. Although Crosby is a factor even when he isn't scoring. Finishing up checks, and getting into the action, and even hussling back in the Pen's zone playing pretty good D. Actually, he has been phenomenal. Avery needs a good rattling from Laraque and Roberts.

I hope it's the Pens in 6 or 7. Either way I see the series going six or seven games. But it could go either way. While Pittsburgh's goaltending has been solid, Fleury hasn't been tested yet. If he does get tested, I hope he can keep the fort up. If he doesn't, it could be a Rangers series win. They have the better goalie. Better equipped on the blueline, and while I may give the Pens the upper hand up front, the Rangers have a plethora of talent that has gone all the way in Shanahan, Jagr, Mr. Clutch aka Drury, and Gomez... so that team knows what it takes to win it all. Pens only have Roberts in that respect, and that was in '89. Nearly 20 years ago.

So you see an Habs -Pens ECF? The Habs dominated Philly this year. But if the 1st round taught us anything is that all that goes out the window! Having Koivu back is big for Higgins and the Kostitsyn bros are coming on.

I definitely see habs beating the flyers.New-york or pittsburg will be another story.I hope they destroyed each other. But between The pens and the Rangers ,I'm rooting for New-York.Sean Avery is my Hero.

I went to college with George Laracque by the way,He was in one of my political class, great guy,but he dated white women back then..We didnt like that....j/k...But true story....

And since I'm naming names, José Theodore did one year at my high school..we're the same age and he's in my year book. he played hockey for the Lynx of Saint-jean back then...he was always the pretty boy,Never talked to him, but we used to ^^^^ the same girls. Another true story.

I hope I see a Pens/Habs Eastern Conference Final! :) That would be fabulous!

Yeah, I was big into dating Asian women. Now I need to take a rest after the last one. lol

Nothing wrong with dating outside of your colour. We're all human. :)

Eli is right, We're french and when were happy, we Riot !!!! Just to show you how hardcore hockey fans we are !!!! wait till we won the cup..we gonna burn this ****** town !!!! And yeah ,were separatist too !!!!

rioting after the first round doesn't make the people from montreal look very good shai. i mean, what is the point in destroying your own city? wouldn't it have made more sense to destroy boston? :lol

FLYERS WIN!!! :chew:chew:chew

Although I must admit with Green, Semin, and Ovetchkin next year they will be a power house.

i thought they might. i didn't feel the caps had enough fire power and huet didn't look so good.

since you're dragging up ancient history, remember this??? :lol :lol :lol
didn't detroit win the president's cup that year, setting nhl records for most wins and most points in a season? most detroit fans don't or don't want to remember that year. kind of reminds me of this year's nfl patriots. my advice is don't get cocky. :D that's why they actually play the games.

I guess you can not watch hockey until the next playoffs. You know what I am sick of all of you on this board. You are all ^^^^ing rude vile people that i refuse to deal with. See you on the flip side nerds. :wave

:wave :wave :wave

things are brightening up around here every day. :joy :banana :mwaha

As a goal scorer? maybe better than wayne....as a point hog? Never!!
Gretzky scored 92 goals brother in one season! Ovechkin is not the great one.
too early to tell...Even my boy Teemu showed greatness in his rookie season still holding the rookie record with 76 goals....Yeah I saw his dives, but his shot is nuts...I know times are different in hockey..but I cant compare Ovechkin to Gretzky...yet.

the fact that ovechkin earned as many points as he did shows the lack of team scoring for the caps. ovechkin had scored 37% of the team's goals. washington needs some more scorers if they plan on doing better next year.

2nd round predictions:

pens over nyr in 7 (nyr won season series 4-3-1)
habs over flyers in 7 (habs won season series 4-0-0)

wings over avs in 5 (wings won season series 4-0-0)
sharks over stars in 7 (stars won season series 4-2-2)

^^^^ YEAH J.R. :rock:rock:rock

Don't really love the Sharks, but I certainly love Roenick and it was great to see him propel his team into the next round. Hopefully they can find the form they had at the end of the season and get my all time favorite athlete that elusive cup.

I say

Pens in 6
Habs in 6
Wings in 5
Sharks in 7

As I said way back in the beginning the Sharks WILL win the cup this year. Their experience taking out the Flames was both a wakeup call and also a kick in the ass.

Smooth transitions from here on out, they will win. I still think the Habs may pull it off though.

I agree with you entirely here minus the Avs/Wings series, I really think the Av's will pull it off in 6.

It's possible. I hope the Avs do win that series, but I just have a feeling the Wings last series served as their wake up. They got all they wanted from Nashville even though it was just 6 games.
