Well lets see if we can hold it now. Hopefully we get no high sticks or miracle goals in the third. :angelsmil

another sub-par performance by the avs losing 5-1 in game 2. still haven't seen colorado bring their a-team against detroit this year, as injuries have taken their toll. forsberg out again, and adding to the list is wolski for the entire detroit series and solid defenseman scott hannen, who hasn't missed a game all year. i don't usually cry when it comes to refs, because in my opinion, they just cannot do a complete job and always miss or mess up something. but after seeing detroit get 'warned' twice now in the series without a resulting penalty is pure BS. if they are acknowledging a reason to have to 'warn' the detroit bench, why wasn't a penalty called? with seconds left at the end of the first period, foote gets boarded and luckily escapes without serious injury. no penalty. also colorado gets 4 straight power plays in the third period (5 total in the game) after the score was out of hand at 4-0. the entire second period looked like a damn detroit pp and they scored three times putting the game out of reach.

but the refs aren't the entire story. again no physical play from the defense, until way after the fact and colorado being down big in the second period. the av power play sucked missing key players, theodore has a second straight crap game, and basically colorado has let franzen run amuck. colorado's coach quenneville should be making adjustments but is clearly out of his league against detroit.

i picked detroit to win this series in 5 but i sure would like to see a little life out of colorado, who had a good season except against detroit. they are now 0-6 this season, only scoring 6 total goals. i think it may be time to start budaj as well. detroit seems to have theo's number.

back to colorado for games 3 and 4.

Game three is in my neck of the woods. Go Flyers! :rock

Yeah, but you know what sucks is that I believe the Flyers can beat Montreal, it is just they let Game 1 slip away like they did against the Caps which just made the series drag out to 7 games. Hopefully they can stop letting go of 2 goal leads and make it to the next round. It's the Playoffs, you can't keep letting teams come from behind to win.

On a lighter note, go Sixers. Maybe they can pull this one out against Detroit.

Pens win a nail biter!! 6-0 in the playoffs so far. I know they probably won't sweep the rangers, but they are really playing some good "overall" hockey right now.. Keep it going boys :joy

GO PENS GO!

btw See what that ******* Sean Avery did to MA Fleury at the end of the game? Loved how Gill and Laracque got all on him within mere sections of that tool's actions.

Nail biter? This was one of the most boring playoff games yet. However, I will route for the Pens since they are close.

It's a nail biter because it was so close. This is the playoffs and when your team is in it and a game is as close as that one is, a lot of nail biting follows. :)

I call it a bore fest. Bring on Philly against the Pens and I will show you a nail biter. :rock

I hope the Pens win the series vs the Rags. Once the Rags are out the Caps are officially and finally DONE paying jagr any money. if he scored 84 points ( he didn't ) or if he won any major awards ( he won't and the Con Smyth was his last shot at one ) then the automatic trigger on his option year is null and void and the Caps won't have to pay him another 4.5 million next year.

That I didn't know or I simply forgot. Man, that sucks for the Caps!

the Habs made an awesome run though in the third. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!! This series ain't over yet man.

Go Habs!!!

Say what you want. Power play aside Philly has dominated. The CAPS played better games than the Habs. The Habs are good at the power play. 5 on 5 and they can't touch Philly. That being said Philly WILL win on Wednesday.

Getting a little cocky aren't we? Montreal dominated this last game. In hits, shots and face offs. They just hit a few posts and had a puck jump over Higgins empty net chance. The breaks of the game. But those pucks will start going in. The Habs are the better team...things aren't going their way right now.

You have seen how fast a series can turn. The Flyers had the Caps down 3 games to 1 and still had to "win" ( with refs help ) in OT of game 7.

The Flyers are playing really well right now, but in the NHL a series can turn with one bounce of the puck. You never know what's gonna happen.

Oh I don't disagree and check your emails you douche! :lecture
