I think being rested helps. Also, you have the best avatar and sig combo on these forums! It would be better if it were the Penguins, but am a fan of the Bruins.

Yeah, I agree the rest will be good for the team. Especially for Tim Thomas, as I don't expect Manny Fernandez to play at all during the playoffs. He looked pretty bad in some games towards the end of the regular season. It will also be good for Andrew Ference. He's been out since April 4, but he should be back for the 2nd round.

I just hate having to wait at least a week for the next game.

Yea I saw most of the game. It was a very good game. Thought the Canes had a easy goal when marty was caught out of net but it wasnt to be.

Marty Brodeur is amazing. My all-time favorite goalie. I think the Devils can surprise and go very far now that Brodeur is well rested... since... EVER!

And they finally have some key components that make them a dangerous offensive team in Zach Parise, Patrik Elias, Travis Zajac, and surpisingly enough, Jamie Langenbrunner.

Agreed. Alot of people slept on the Canes but they got hot near the end of the season and have carried that over.

Yea he was a blast to watch play. I still have one of his Auto jerseys in my collection. he came very close to leading the Cannucks to a upset win in the finals in 94.

Agreed, I don't mind playing Boucher at all but not at Letangs expense. He is their best skating Dman. I would have thought they sat Gill who has been horrid the last few games.

I didn't mind them playing Satan. He actually played fairly well once Bylsma took over. Sykora has not been himself all series so if he isn't still hurting from a previous injury he definitely needs the wake up call.

Should be interesting game 6 to say the least. If Letang is not playing though they deserve to lose.
