Just got mine, BEST SS SW Human figure yet... up there with Maul.

And it looks more Like Carrie than the proto. Homerun.

Congrats SS. Keep it going now...

Leia wil be here tommorow, not the real question is will i be hear to get her

I hope not. If medicom can engineer a removable helmet that keeps the head and helm in scale, Sideshow can do it too. I just like it better when I know there is a head under there instead of stump.

I dont know about some of the other, but the Stormtrooper head paint would get jacked up if you took it off the helmet and put it on all the time. Its a tight fit and the Clonetrooper has no head.

Well I finally got to open Leia this evening. I must say I am impressed. To be honest, she was the first figure I didn't want when I ordered her at SDCC, but I ordered her because I'm a completist (and she went with the whole Jabba set up). Well, I'm really glad I did now. She is an awesome figure. I got her with the helmet on in the auctioning Chewie pose. I just wish she had a holster or something to put the exclusive blaster. I really want to pose her with it because I feel I should at least pose them with the exclusive some of the time, but the thermal detonator is so cool.

One question, does the 'head' inside the helmet supposed to come out? I have taken it out yet, but it is visable if Leia were to hold the helmet instead of wear it.

One complaint, she has too many of those canister-thingies. One big and one little would have been enough. Her belt is pretty full with the three of each.

I agree about the holster.

And yes, the fake head inside the helmet comes out. There is a slot up inside to keep it in place, but it can easily be removed if you want her to hold the helmet. In fact, I would suggest that you remove it first and attach it to the neck for the helmeted version, and then stick the helmet on top once it's securely in place. I pressed down on the helmet with the neck inside, and it scratched the chest piece, revealing the brightly colored material underneath.

Is there a trick to get it out? There isn't a lot there to grab on to. I did take the head off again though and got it on more securely. I was careful about not letting it it scratch the chest area. It is on bit more tight now.

So far this Leia seems to be 100% satisfaction for everyone who's received her. I can't wait.

For some reason, I still haven't got a shipping notice. Nada. :monkey2 I guess it's about time I'm moved to the back of the California line. Or maybe SS fears my kitchen shots on this one. :)

I think Medicom did a great job of keeping the helmet in scale, but the head is pretty tiny. I have the ROTS and he's got a bit of a pin head going on. Its not terrible, but if we can keep all the sizes correct I'm all for that.

And Sideshow's system seems to have worked really well with the Boushh figure.

I agree to some point. The head is small, that's is because the figure itself is small(most's main gripe). The vader itself is fantastic and perfectly proportioned. But if he was true 1/6 scale, the head, helmet would be bigger of course.

Scarlet is right. The Medi-Vader head is in perfect proportion to the rest of the figure (besides you have to figure it is the head of a 6'2 man on a 6'8 (or whatever) body.

Why, just cuz it's a female figure who happens to have an accessory that's a long rod? :rotfl

I cancelled mine last night. My waitlist converted, but I don't really need the blaster. It's a pretty lull accessory imo, although I think she had in Shadows of the Empire. Haven't read it in years though. I'll pick her up cheaper later on down the road with all her Boushhy goodness.

Funny so did I.The exclusive just didn't have any wow factor for me, and at the rate these things depreciate, I will be patient and pick up a reg later.

She does however, look very nice
