I think the Storm Tropper might be worse! Everyone already knows they sold a lot at SDCC, so people will be scrambling to get one. With the Vader, people assumed a very large edition size, especially since it said TBD...

Wow, well I hope everyone gets the stormie if they want one. I am just so thrilled I have Vader, I've been waiting a little while now!

I haven't watched ANH in a while, so I'm just guessing here... but doesn't he use the Force to choke someone in the meeting room with all the commanders at some part? While 'pointing'? It's not a 'physical' choke hand that he uses to choke Capt. Antilles, but a 'Force' choke? Eh, I don't come up with the titles for things

If it is from the part when he's talking to Leia, maybe he's threatening to Force choke her with his pointy finger

Crap! I was placing the order and it was taking forever then, BAM! no longer available! Waitlisted it. CRAP! KKKHHHHHAAAANNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you got on it within minutes of sell-out - VERY good chance of fulfillment, based on past Star Wars PPO's. There is always a certain number of cancellations - both before it starts to ship (double orders getting cleared out, second thoughts about paying for it, etc) and when it starts to ship (card declines, people don't have the money then, etc).

This one's not due until late 1st/early 2nd quarter of 2009, so I'd be willing to bet a lot that you'll be all good when it comes time to ship - as long as you placed a Wait List reservation!

Same here. I don't know why that is but at least I got mine. Too bad my Troopers will be sitting alone until Vader ships later.

I had my page on auto refresh. It auto refreshed at exactly 10:00am, but it did not load a PPO page for me to log in with. I had to manually refresh. By the time I got in, it was already gone.

I think the Stormtrooper will have the same 1977 ES and there may be fewer left available than Vader since many of us ordered 2 at SDCC. We shall see...
