Yep, Ronin Six on OSW did a photo review. The BD head looks a little better, but that's about all the differences I could spot.

well guys i'm so glad i got them spare feet..changing outfits on the RM-X and snap!! at the ankles.but i can confirm the ankles do pull from the legs.and the leg from the knee joint comes off too.to be done only in extreme cases of course.right now to redress mr lee

Oops! You might have talked yourself into that one! I remember posting in a thread about TT knees that none of mine had broken, a day later I broke two of them!

What issues was the 3rd Edition GOD supposed to address, was it just the sculpt or did they sort out the body as well!?

i think it was just a redone head.cant see EB spending more money on the body.but i'm sure someone out there will confirm what the score is.

I wonder if anyone on here will actually get the box set. I didn't remember hearing of anyone getting the head either.

I forgot the name of that version, but I think a Freak did purchase that set with the eyes looking in the opposite direction, & posted pics on here somewhere.

Also, I don't remember the smiley variant being offered to people as a replacement head. I think it was exclusive to that particular set they had for sale at some toy show. As for the 3rd batch of 'Game Of Death' head sculpts being improved. I don't know about that. I think getting one of the better BD head sculpts might be random. Since they are painted by hand (right?), each & every sculpt won't be 100% identical. Look at Rorywan's BD head for example. Still the best I've seen from this set, & it was from the earlier batch. I know Rorywan did some custom work on it, but you can still tell the difference.

This is not the replacement / 3rd edition head smiley.
I got it from ACGHK exhibition last year at HK.

Freak was me.
Smiling looking to the right was HK Anime Expo exclusive. For accessories had the camera stand and a base with GOD and BL signature printed on it.
