I can't believe Angolz.com doesn't have this listed yet... interested to see how much cheaper it is than the US sellers.

Meh, a figure as epic as this deserves the insurance policy of ordering through a tried and trusted seller. I'll stick with BBTS regardless.

Carry on.

I've never purchased from bbts myself.
How do they ship their figures? What I'd like to know specifically is, do they ship using the Hot Toys outer brown shipping box or do they take that and put it into another shipping box?

they put the hot toys outer brown shipping box in another big box very well protected.....of the other online retailers I've used I'd rank them like this as far as packaging goes.

1. Cornerstore comics
2. Alter Ego Comics
3. BBTS
4. Supernatural art.com
5. gohastings
6. Sideshow

Sideshow below GoHastings? Seriously?

totally agree, at least Go Hastings uses bubble wrap and an outer box.

When I ordered Guardian Predator, Sideshow just sent it with a address sticker slapped over the standard shipper box. No protection at all :horror, and it was banged up when i opened it :pfft:

They remove the item from the brown shipper and put it in a different box.

No they don't. I just got a Barney Ross from them last month.

And yeah, Go Hastings is at the bottom no question. I wouldn't even call their service 'packing' in the slightest. I had a figure sent pre-damaged before shipping . I mean the box was literally torn open and stuff missing :slap Don't order from Go Hasting expecting a mint item, you'll be lucky to get a complete item.

Shipper box is just that, the shipper. IF the actual box of the item is messed up, I've never had a problen getting a replacement from SS.

GoHastings???? lol, they just throw stuff in a oversized box wtih a bubble wrap or two. Stuff all sliding around.

Awesome feedback. :hi5:

Regarding gohastings....I've even read that they will take a figure that they've got displayed at one of their stores, stuff it back into it's box, and sell it as a 'New' item...that is, they will still price it the same as if it was an unopened item.

I'm sorry, but that's not right at all.

gohastings does package their boxes. But from what I can tell the boxes aren't in very good shape to begin with. That's why I only buy something from them that is deeply discounted. I got my Batman DX from BBTS and it had the HT's brown shipper inside another big box. Box was fine when I got it. I don't know what happened on your Barney Ross but that sucks. As for SS they do nothing but the brown shipper. Luckily my UPS man takes good care of the boxes. I've had a few shipper boxes get beaten up from SS but luckily the figures and the boxes they were in were fine. My Wolverine box from SS was beat up more than I would have liked it to be but the figure was fine.

But that is why they are discounted. Most of there stuff is stock off the shelves, same as the discount sections at stores, there might be dents and dings, but you can save some $$$.

On HT items, unless you're saving at least $40, I wouldn't even think of ordering from GoHastings.

IF they actually have the item you ordered in stock and don't just refund you, then you have to hope that the figure is OK because it's a good bet your box will be dented, bent or the outer box missing. You also have to hope you get shipped the correct item -- I've heard many stories about the wrong figure -- completely wrong -- arriving to the buyer.

If you're considering GoHastings, you really should take an hour and read through 20-30 pages to get a sense of what happens and what your odds are.

With all those other stores, your odds are you'll get what you order, complete.

I love on Gohastings that they have the HT King Leonidas picture for the Beserker predator...I always laugh lol

Same thing happened with Ross here as well, however DX Bats came with the shipper so it is a crap shoot as far as shippers go it seems. Both times the item arrived well packed with zero problems to the actual box though.
