Hey, guys.

Just got my Chopper. Got him loose for $55 plus shipping. Hate the helmet on him, but I will sculpt some custom helmets for him - hehe.

Also - the head seems a tad big. What do you guys think?

I may try to sculpt a smaller head and transplant the spines, locks.

I'm waiting to get my 1st Hot Toy Predator tomorrow from Sideshow. Got the Asia Anceint one - Can't Wait... Hope I don't much up the assembling.

Received my Predator today - After about 1 & a half putting the think together, whlst chanting "to glue or not to glue" in my head, and toying around with the figure for another hour... I finally finished him off!!! All I can truely say is this is an awesome figure and that my fingers have never been this sore...

So here he is...

For all of you that have put more than one of these figures together I salute you!

Awesome! I have Scar, Chopper and Celtic and yes, putting them together is a royal pain, but it does get a little more easy as you do more. The honest reason I didn't get the Elder and Ancient are because I don't feel like putting more of them together LOL.

Grangewallis, congratulations on completing your first Predator kit! Good choice, too... the Ancient is one of the nicest ones, imo. Mine is standing right here beside me with no head at the moment. I've been tweaking the neck joint to see if I can get some more articulation out of it. I won't know know how much of an improvement it may be till I stick his head on, and once I do that, it's NOT coming off again!!! I sure hope it works, tho.

Still love the helmet on that one over the Japanese one. The one thing that I don't like about the Ancient Pred is that he doesn't hold the Alien trophy very well without falling over.

Another thing I don't like is that the chest armor has a difficult time staying in place because it's being pushed out to the side by the dreadlocks and the single strap across the chest used to secure it in place just doesn't do it's job all that well.

That armor was a tough gig - I busted the straps on the chest... Glued it back together - Real fiddlely... So glad it's over! Looks good in my collection!

The Alien head, has sold me on picking up one - Fantastic detail! Damn you hot toys!!! It's making me poor!

Hey guys. After months of on the fence/off the fence decision making, cancelling of scar predator and celtic predator from sideshow (doh!), i've decided to spend my hard earned cash on a Predator. Right now, I can only afford the 3 on Sideshow's website, but it's between either the Chopper or the Ancient Predator.

I've seen all the sweet arse pictures posted here, but before I buy (around lunch today, 12 EST) I really want your opinions on which I should get first. YES, eventually I will get both haha, but I would really like some swaying as to which to get first.
