I've yet to get any 1/6 Star Wars figure with a lightsaber... But why are all of their blades so thin?? I just rewatched some of the films recently, and none of their lightsaber beams are anywhere near that thin!

^ get the medicom version. maul's blade is thicker compared to the SS version. funny thing is, you're looking for a thick blade while some prefer the thinner one

Why do people want the thinner blade? Do they think it's more accurate??? And I'm just going to go with whatever Sideshow uses since I'll be sticking with their line... Especially after their General Grievious and new Darth Vader arrive.

For my part, i prefer the thin blades. IMO, thiker ones just aren't looking as realistic at that scale.

The funny thing is that every time I get the chance I prefer to display my Vader figures or statues without the plastic pole they call lightsaber.

I could care less if the 1/6 lightsaber lights up. The clear, color lightsaber pole has never bothered me.

Back to Vader, after the mods I did this figure is one of my favorites. I can't imagine Sideshow or Hot Toys topping it for me. Unless the ESB/ROTJ version has a removable helmet with perfect Sebastian Shaw portrait.

Hoping they do not do a removable helmet/mask and instead stick with two different headsculpts. Removable masks always screw with the proportions and tend not to stay on that well, especially Vader as it's at least 2 seperate components. Really I'd prefer they skip a reveal altogether but can live with two sculpts since it should mean everyone's happy.

I am pretty sure they will do the multiple head sculpts style... I preferred the true reveal at one point, but now I don't care.

Oh, I absolutely prefer the reveal...but it absolutely HAS to be a separate head. And it has to have all of the pieces as well.

i'm just hoping that the tusks on the mask are a little bit more substantial than the previous ones. i wish that part could be made of some type metal. they are too frajeelay (french sp).
