i am of course only assuming... but if SST can pass this helmet for the ANH version, it most certainly could carry on using it for both ESB AND ROTJ... perhaps it was simply a business decision.

If that were the case why isn't there a precedence for it in SS history? Why did SS go to painstaking lengths to get the design on each of the 3 Anakin sabers exactly right when they could have just used one basic Anakin saber hilt design and reproduce that for the ANH and ESB Anakin sabers?

So nice to be excited about a SW figure again. It's been a while for SST to do that for me.

Figure looks excellent.

Only thing that sucks is Luke and Han are now canceled cause of Vader.


But that's ok Vader > ST Luke&Han

I wonder if there's a way i could color it a light red/pinkish.

Hey Krayt do you actually have that old vader or is it a photo. It would sure be cool to see some photos of the vintage figure. Sure brings back memories cause I used to have one!!!.. crap, I miss it.

All this discussion on the helmet, but no noe has mentioned what I feel is a more serious flub-the shoulder bells, which are completely off. They should look like this...

Decided to try some things out tonight, was going to futz the chest box a bit and decided to see about the tunic, got it off enough to put under the chest armor, so here's a few images showing this Vader with the tunic as it was in the other 3 films.

Yep I'm definitely following suit with this... Killer Picture Sean! :maul

Although this is the ANH Helmet/suit which is moderately different to the one is TESB... I just like the look way better with the tunic under the Chest armour... Thus the reason he appeared with the tunic under the armour more than he did with it on top as per ANH.... Because it looks so much better!

Will have to find a way to pin is so it's not hanging over the shoulders...

I do like the fabric or tabbards over the shoulder armor with the ANH version as it reminds me of Anakin still retaining some jedi style to his outfit.

These shoulder bells look more ESB style to me,though i never really had a good view of the ANH shoulder bells.

The helmet screams ANH though...just not the greatest paint job.
