Hair looks great but def need to dremel that back mullet off. Love the paint to the helmet too. I think with a lot of love, this can be a great figure. The wait to get mine is killing me!!

I POd from BBTS when first announced I believe around $189. Still waiting to get though; most likely the ebay folk have in hand so you might pay a little more but you'll get it faster than me apparently lol.

Oh ok. Let me check - also any idea if Pangea products are better or Kaustik plastic - trying to decide on the Maximus one as well!

Can only go by proto pics, but I went with Kaustics full setup; body w/head, outfit and metal helmet. If the headsculpt is meh, can always get a good one off ebay(which I bought for General Maximus). Won't know until it sin hand though and that will probably be awhile.

I believe for general Maximus I bought this one:

But for gladiator Maximus I'm going to use the one in the KP body unless it's absolutely horrendous. I'll probably have mask on most of the time anyway really

I own both KP and ACI figures, and generally speaking, KP beats ACI in the gear/weapons/outfit category, while ACI's bodies I find overall better.

In my opinion this one is worth to get.
And it looks great with a bit repaint.

Nice pics! Making the helmet darker really does help making it seem smaller.

How did you darken it 30cm?

i did airbrush all leather outfits and armors with flat black color.

I wish the paint apps on the sculpt were as good as the ones on their Maximus.

Question: does the figure have feet or are they just pegs? I'm thinking of using other boots...
