Suppose to receive my Overwatch CE today and had two packages Amazon sent via USPS...one was delivered and this one was marked "business was closed". I guess he realized he forgot to deliver it and didn't want to come back and deliver it so I have to go to the post office to get it tomorrow since it's still on the truck. I hate USPS. They do this about 25% of the time to me.

Thought so, it looks really nice actually, but unless they have significantly upped the build quality, I'll stick with my Roccat Kone XTD.

Mine came in, they just put mine on my doorstep. Its packaging is VERY well done. Nothing flimsy about it for sure. I'm just happy to finally have the official OST!

EDIT: Any Sideshow Freaks on PC go ahead and add me so we can play. My battle.net is geekjosh#1979. I've got the next 2 days off, so I'll be on most of the time lol.

To those grabbing their gtx 1080 this Friday:

Where are you doing it? No one seems to be offering preorders and there's already scalpers offering them for double the price! I guess Amazon had them up for minutes until they took the listing down.

Any other, not so popular sites one can order from?

I'd say don't grab it on Friday, especially if cost is a concern - it's only the "Frounder's Edition" (aka. reference design cooler) that's being released on the 27th. According to Nvidia, it's going to retail for $699, while the custom coolers will be priced at $599 MSRP. Personally, I'm waiting a few weeks for either Asus or EVGA to release their own versions of the card.

I'm waiting to see what the others offer, I've liked the Gigabyte cards lately so I look forward to seeing what they offer.

lol.

i imagine it is super tough for modders to make significant mods that'll work with the consoles.

Supposedly some went up for preorder on the 20th, but from what I understand many places that had it listed didn't actually take orders and they're cancelling some of them. I haven't found anything as far as what specific time things will actually go up, on Amazon it could be as early as 12am est
Though I kind of expect it to be random so it's going to suck to try and keep track of things. There's email alerts you can do for things like at nowinstock.net but it could be too late by the time you get an email.
I would look at Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, Fry's, and Nvidia's own site. Those sites are confirmed. No guarantee that any brick-and-mortar stores will have any in-store.

If you miss it, just wait until it gets in stock again. And if you wait then you can get the regular ones for cheaper anyway.

The Founder's Edition comes out tomorrow and will cost $699

If you wait, then the other manufacturers will come out with normal ones which will start at $599 some of them may be overclocked or have better cooling systems.

Well, the best laptop isn't going to be able to run full settings at 4k, the top mobile GPU is the GTX 980M
If you're looking for a laptop with a 4k screen, I don't think there's very many of those.

So orders for the GTX 1080 went kind of weird, Amazon had almost nothing in stock, though it's possible they might put something up today still. The Nvidia website sold out in a few minutes. Someone was able to figure out how to order on Newegg even though the product pages had it listed as out of stock so luckily I was able to order there. They are out of stock everywhere now.
The custom versions will be coming soon: https://wccftech.com/asus-evga-zotac-geforce-gtx-1080-graphics-card/
