Davy looks great with the sculpted clothing. It's something you really notice in person. The wet look captures the character perfectly. This figure is definitely well above NECA's craftsmanship, it's a perfect sculpt and highly articulate to pose.

I got a question. What's the deal with that red spot on the right side of Jack Sparrow's beard (the first one)? I always meant to ask about that.

I think of it as the figure form of CGI. He was all CGI in the movie, so he is all sculpted material in the figure. Just my way of looking at it.

I think Jones looks more attractive in the movie...his upper lip area looks slightly off on the figure.

I want to se Barbossa and Norrington first - the characters they haven't made. But afterwards, I would love an Elizabeth in the maroon dress that Barbossa made her wear.

How do you remove Jack's head? Do you take the whole neck joint or just the head? Want to remove it before painting.

Head comes off the neck, it's a ball joint attachment. Though I found with the heads on Cannibal Jack, they hold to the ball joint a bit tighter and might take the neck with them, either way, it's easily removed.

Thanks. Got it. He's almost done. A little finish work on the eye makeup and moustache left, but I'm happy with the skin tone. My first human repaint in over a year. I do prefer him lighter.
