Then Thursday it is. I wonder if Barbossa will be out by the end of the year. Getting Will Turner and Davy Jones within weeks of each other makes me think it can't be long.

I'm sure Barbossa will be announced at ToyFair. Maybe another fig or two as well: Tia Dalma and Maccus would be nice. Doubt another Will will come this close on the heels of his recent release, but maybe a DMC version of Eliz.

They do Tia Dalma after Barbossa and I'll have everyone I want. Maybe Bootstrap, but no more.

That would be pretty satisfying to have a collection wrapped up in less than a year.

There's still the DMC Will to wait for... and I wouldn't say no to several of Davy's crew. They'd look pretty cool on the shelf.

Yeah, they would. So would more of the Pearl's crew. I just can't invest myself that deep into it. I'm in for the major plot engines of the story, and in their AWE incarnations, because that's where it all climaxes. I think the only one I'd prefer as a DMC version would be Tia Dalma, but I don't know how much of a difference there is. If there's a lot, then I definitely want the figure with the maximum amount of voodoo priestess-ness. Right down to those sexy black teeth.

For me the line won't be complete until I have Norrington. As much as I want Barbossa and Calypso and a human Jones, Norrington is my most wanted wanted figure in this line.

Probably because Sideshow sell at the recommended retail price. They just distribute them, they aren't a retailer themselves with a shop, so aren't caught up in or maybe unable to offer discounts between wholesale and retail, such as online shops are able to.

I'm just ordering from Sideshow since depending on how early it ships I might have to cancel and I can easily cancel from Sideshow if I need to.

SS coming 2nd quarter so there's no advantage here. Best to order at Toys2...or elsewhere.
